Brocock/BRK  Gotta love those Brocock Bantam Snipers

One of my prized airguns is a Brocock Bantam Sniper HR.....YES, that's right it's a bolt action. Seems those are going the way of the dodo, but I still love 'em. Anyway, this rifle is one super shooter, even if I'm not in it's league. This is the first time I've had an opportunity to give 100 yards a try. I used JSB 18.1 gr domed pellets fed from a magazine I bought from ShootinNewB, which by the way, are super mags. This is 5 shots from off the bed of my truck, nothing special for a rest, just me shooting as good as I can. I was plenty impressed, not only with me, but the rifle too. I know with a proper bench and rest, I could do better. I'll try it again sometime when I have my bench outside. I uaually shoot from inside my garage across the field at 40 yds max, but if I move outside I can get way over 100yds.
The group is 2-14"

FX  New DREAMLINE tac 25

Hey, total new guy, day one. I just purchased an FX Dreamline tactical .25 tube version from Utah Airguns.
EDIT: I am shooting Exact Kings 25.39 I've gone thru about 2 150 rdtins trying to figure out a tune. I would like to be at 880. But everything I watch doesn't seem to apply to my gun other than the fact that they were right about the balance between the HST wheel and more pressure Def doesn't mean more power. I've tried every position on my wheel (which isn't labeled A-E 1-5 and "MAX". Its 1-23 1 being low side of the cam 23 being the high side. I have gotten the best results from about 118BAR on the reg and Max on the wheel and I'm getting 863-868... AND that's through 40 shots give or take 5. (More on the give). I have gone from 110 all the way to 140 trying to get 900 and I've seen 880 once. At 115. But it was at max and the spread was about 25fps and when I backed it off on the wheel... dropped to 845/850 . My TP is on "HIGH". I'm not understanding how the lower my reg the higher my velocities. On every position of the power wheel. Anyone got any information or tips to try out.

BTW, Name is Alex, I live in Gwinnett County GA (Buford/Lawrenceville area) I'm 38, nice to meet you all. Any tips appreciated.

Dope data holders

Hey all,
I wanted to share something with everyone. I see people doing many different things for dope info and I felt like maybe its because they weren't aware of the products that exist today for that job.
I have used 2 different dope data card holders for shooting NRL22 matches and ended up using one of those products shooting FT as well.
This is a super easy flexible velcro part that wraps around your scope tube. It packs away nicely in any case as it folds out of the way.
I use them on my HFT pistols and rifles.
Hope this helps someone else.

I also make my own dope cards in excel for each gun so its clean and neat. I then laminate in a business card sleeve and trim down a touch and slide it in a pouch that sticks to a flat surface. You could do several different ways to attach the actual card or use the dry erase boards they include and just use permanent marker.

Umarex  Windage adjustment day to day ?

I'm a little confused as to why I might have to adjust my left/right windage on the scope daily.
Notos with Hatsan 3x9 x 40 scope. Zeroed at power 5X ( as I like to shoot on 5). All screws are tight / no movement on scope.
as an example:
Day One: zeroed it in & shooting with amazing acuaracy at 25 yards. Stored my Notos safetly & securely. No dropping or carrying by the scope etc..
Day Two: Took the first 4 shots and it layed out a cluster no bigger than a dime however, it was about 3/4" to the left. Figuring the Notos is acuarte I adjusted the scope about 12 clicks to the right & it was spot on for the next 30 - 40 shots. Then I stored the gun again.
Day Three: first three shots are 1/2" - 3/4" to the right this time ??? .... 12 clicks to move it back to the left & spot on for the rest of the session. This time I Zeroed it a full 9X power. Then backed it off to the lowest 3x's and untilmatly 5X which all powers were spot on. Took about 40 shots , left it on 5X's & stored it.
A few days later (Yesterday): Same thing ?? 1/2" to the left. corrected it & spot on.

Is it possible that coming from a very cool 70* of air conditioning to 84* of So. Florida heat can move the components ? throwing off the scope ?
If this is common ( I don't think it is), I can live with a correction on the first few shots of each session.

PCP Rifle  SOLD Western Sidewinder Compact 30cal. (Price Reduced)

I've came to the conclusion that it's time for someone else to get to enjoy this gun. I bought it last year and have only had it out once to shoot. Don't really have the space to shoot it like I should. And I've recently got into archery and practice it every day. So this gun is basically new. And it will come with an extra magazine. And the soft case it came in. Scope not included. Asking 1900 shipped TYD. Can get more pictures if you want. My feedback speaks for itself. Thanks for looking.

Oh Crap...No more MP-5

I have used MP-5 the entire time that I have had airguns. More than 50 years I believe. No more. It's gone. 1st it was sold by Beeman as Compound No. 5 Metalophilic Oil then by Air Venturi. Checked with Ted at Air Venturi. No longer available anymore. Crap! I really liked that stuff too. Guess I'll try Ballistol. RIP MP-5.

Crosman  362 Anniversary Edition question

I just got my new Anniversary 362 from Pyramyd and it doesn’t dump all the air when pumped from 6 to 8 shoots. After I shoot, I cock it again to dump any remaining air. On 7 pumps I get consistent chrony numbers from 623 fps to 627 fps with 13.4 gr JSB, but on 8 pumps it can be erratic. Anyone experience this? Does the rifle just need to break in, or is it a warranty issue?

Air Arms  TX200 problem

If anyone has any advice that would be great. This is my problem. My last ft match my tx was all over the place. Couldn’t figure it out. Got home and chrono said I was at 735 which I have had it set up around 765. So I added another spacer on the guide and gun wouldn’t cock. So ok, I ordered a new spring and breech seals. Replaced both and power was around 715. New 12 fpe spring and only 715? Had a vortek piston seal in it. So I tried putting my factory piston seal on. 670. Now I’m frustrated. So I took piston and compression tube out. Inspected everything. Only thing I can come up with is with my thumb over compression tube and pushing the piston in I would think u should not be able to push the piston in. I can push it about half way in tube before It gets tough but I can still push the piston all the way into the compression tube. I would think you shouldn’t be able to if everything is sealing correctly. Am I wrong here? So now I have a compression tube ordered. Am I on the right track here or is it possible my last spring went bad and the new spring I got just don’t make the power. It’s a 12fpe spring from pyramyd but only 670 with 8.4s. I shouldn’t need that much preload and spacers right? Any advice would be awesome.

PCP Pistol  SOLD Airmaks Katran Compact Bottle .177 $850

SCOPE & RINGS NOT INCLUDED. Selling my really nice Katran purchased from UA in February. She’s a great shooter. She’s tuned by UA and that’s how it’s stayed I haven’t touched a thing on tune. I’ve slightly made the trigger lighter because it felt heavier than I liked, I don’t know the pull weight but it’s not a hair trigger however it feels good, the safety works and won’t bump fire👍I don’t know shot count but I’m sure a lot on this mild tune I get bored doing shot counts on big tanks. Comes with 4 Carm magazines, single shot tray, original magazine, nice wood grips. I’ll ship in a soft case. Selling to buy a Brocock Ranger.177. I’m a micro compact fan this is a small gun folded but Ranger is much smaller :) Asking $850 shipped PayPal f&f. Immaculate condition just priced to go.

Newbie here to air rifles

Hello all! I'm a total newbie to air rifles. I primarily became interested because of a rodent problem in my backyard. I just purchased an air venturi avenger wirh a bug buster scope to get me started. I definitely could use some advice. I need some places to go practice and learn. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. I'm in the Riverside, CA area.

Beeman  Beeman Kodiak .25

Added another Webley to the collection at a very cheap price, a Beeman Kodiak (Webley Patriot) in .25 in nice condition. When I bought this rifle I assumed it would be a harsh shooting novelty gun, but I was pleasantly surprised! The thing shoots like a gas ram with a dull thud even though it has a spring and is not so tough to cock despite the reputation as a tough one to cock. It may have been tuned or at least lubed correctly. It's shooting 25.39gr JSB Kings at just over 26ftlb. I was smacking cans at 35yrds with open sights as easy as most of my other springers. Really happy with this classic!

N/A  Washing, sorting, and lubricating slugs... What's your opinion?

I have been reading a lot of articles and watching a lot of videos about slugs. Some people clean them, sort them and lube them. And some people just open the package and run them. So I am interested in your opinions on if you all do or do not and why? Thanks in advance for your feedback.
