.177 Air Gun Feather Darts

There's not too much information about airgun darts for BB guns online, so I added it here.
These are the Milbro air gun .177cal darts. I found it on eBay, but I also found another site that has 20 darts available but in different colors.
The newer darts from Air Venturi on Amazon have mixed reviews with some saying the feathers will fall out as you shoot them. I can't vouch for this since I don't own them but the Milbro are strong so far.
20 darts for .177 or .22

I'm using my Smith & Wesson model 29 8" revolver with these darts at 10 yards and these are the shot groups I got off from my bags. The darts shoot with a 4 to 5-inch drop so make sure your bb gun has rear adjustable sights.

I found that if you take the rubber seals off the shells, push the darts in, and then put the seals back on you will get the best accurate shots. 1.5" group was the best I got so far. I also think to prevent the dart from easily falling out of the shell adding a mini-oring to the dart might fix this.

The darts weigh .83 to .93 grams and they get an average of 185fps from an 800psi regulated HPA tank on the chronograph. *The 1st shot was a dud and dart shot low, just omit it.

PCP Rifle  NLA Leshiy classic .30 SE Gold color

This pains me to do this, but it’s time I have to let this one go… but I don’t wanna!

It’s a Leshiy classic 350 mm .30 cal Huma regulated SE in gold. I have to say that it needs a re-seal and isn’t holding air, but a complete O-ring kit from EdGun west is included. I just never got around to resealing it myself. This also has an analog air gauge and comes with the following pellets:

FX Atomic HP 44.8 grains - 5 sealed and 1 basically full but unsealed
FX Domes 44.8 - 1 sealed and 1 half
JSB Exact 44.75 - 1 sealed
JSB Exact 50.15 - 4 sealed and about 3/4 of a tin

The bipod and scope are not included. I have no idea how much this is worth so I am going to list it at the amount according to how much I love this gun. Feel free to shoot me an offer, I’m a reasonable guy, and talk me off the price of $2000 for the bundle of gun and ammo shipped to the lower 48 PayPal friends and family or Zelle. Any questions let me know!

18 Pounds of Pellets

I cleaned out my pellet trap again over the last couple of days. I used an old, already ruined, pan to melt them down - shown pretty full with pellets in the picture. It is now dedicated to doing this. I got 19 lbs of lead bars but my bathroom scales said it was 18 lbs of pellets. Either way it's a lot of pellets. I knew that pellet trap had gotten heavy.

I tried dumping the trap into a 5 gallon bucket half full of water. It did not get rid of all the rubber mulch but it cut it down a lot. Most of it stayed near the surface. I scooped that out and put it on something to dry. Then I scooped what I could out of the mess at the bottom of the bucket. Last I dumped the bucket on my back porch and used a leaf blower to further separate things. Worked pretty well but still took time. There was still debris in the pellets when I started melting them down on the side burner of the grill on the back porch but I scooped that off the molten lead.

Some of the lead will probably be used to make a small back anchor for the fishing boat I am getting outfitted. Not sure what I'll do with the rest. But the trap is a lot lighter.

I bought a crosman 2260 on ebay solely for parts, and this is how it arrived!

I needed the tube and trigger, and planned on selling the stock and barrel/breech. I'm super pissed to say the least.

Usps is a joke anymore... no surprise since they're ran by the federal government.

Im the new guy here...I have 3 PCP's, 4 old school ones...

Hey everyone, I hunt here in SW Florida with Air Rifles, Coyotes, Iguana's Coons, whatever. I Love PolyMags! And Slugs.

Has anyone done a trigger upgrade to their AEA HP TD? Mines a .30 cal, and the trigger is way too heavy. I know how to polish a trigger group, but has anyone tried lighter springs? I cant fing ANY info online. I lOve the rifle, I hate this 5+lb trigger. Ever firearm I have has a superb trigger, I am a trigger snob. Please advise!
Thank you, Jeff from Venice Florida

PCP Rifle  NLA Trade my Air Venturi Avenger Regulated .22 cal

Hello everyone,

I have never owned a 25 cal PCP and would like to trade my like new Air Venturi Avenger .22 cal regulated. I purchased this rifle new from Airgun Depot in January of 2024 and have not modified it in anyway. It is very accurate shooter and I have posted many shot targets here on the Forum ( What paper target did you shoot today ), comes with all original items including factory box and outside shipping box. The scope and rings do not go with the trade.

I’m looking for a like new rifle in .25 cal that has not been modified, in perfect working condition, holds air, and must be an accurate shooter. I am willing to add cash along with my rifle for the right trade.

What have you got?

Thank you and have a great day,
ThomasT

Advice on initial purchase.

Been lurking around and see a lot of threads similar to mine but I have some specifics.... Like many others I am looking to pick off some house sparrows around my purple martin colony. Each year I start trapping before the martins arrive and then transition to the shot gun. Early on I can walk out and get close enough to shoot them as they fly away from my martin houses. By this time of year they have wised up and if I am anywhere in my yard they take off so I contend with several of them that are super skittish.

My martin housing is about 35 yards from my house where I could set up in a window. There are some perches around and a couple small bushes they use so my range would be 30-40 yards. I am seeking an air rifle that will shoot sparrows at that range. About 10 years ago when I moved to this house not knowing any better I bought a gun off the shelf from Wal Mart (I think it was a Gamo) or something like that, around 120.00 including a scope. I tried all different types of pellets and could never get it to group well enough to hit sparrows at that distance. I have hunted/shot weapons for 35 years but just couldn't get accurate with it.

I would like to keep my budget around $200-$300 (lowers is obviously fine) and would be fine buying used. Not picky about what type or brand it is. Just something that will take out the sparrows at that distance. Would love to hear your thoughts and if anyone has anything for sale I would be interested as well.

HW/Weihrauch  HW30 introduction?

I just got a HW30s this week. Been wanting one for 20 years or so, but never got around to ordering one. I put a Williams receiver sight on it, and replaced the fiber optic dog sh!t front sight. It's a very lovely timeless combination. Like breath of fresh air to go back to basics! I got my first airgun (paid for it with my own cash) when I was 13 or so. It was a Norica 73. I loved it but really wanted a Diana, like my uncle had suggested, but could not afford it. Receiving the HW30s feel like being a kid again! Could someone here tell me when the HW30 was introduced? I know the HW30s came on the market in 1964, and even that is quite impressive!

My HW30s has the new stock on it. I think it's ugly, but already planned to make a new stock in Walnut, so I'm not bothered. The original sights were horrible! Which is unfortunately common on many HW guns these days. They ruined the HW45 and HW75 completely this way. The front sight had the fiber optic insert put in more to one side than the other. Unusable as intended, and best ignored! The deluxe globe sigh was a bit pricey, but high quality for what it is. I like the the thin Patridge insert best for general use. Would be accurate enough for head shots on Tree Rats out to 30-40ft, where legal!

Wtt my bronze m3 impact that has the 600mm barrel in .22 for something more lefty friendly, the magazine is an issue for me as it tends to push into my face.

It will come with all you normally get plus a gravity rail.
No scope or rings included.
If a trade is made I will not ship first,I will receive your trade to look it over then ship mine out to you if this bothers you don't hit me up.I will travel a bit if you live around Tennessee to meet up and trade in person up to about 2 hours drive time.
Shipping is USA lower 48.
If you would like specific pictures of areas just let me know.
the only ammo ive used is jsb 18.1

Thanks everyone with all the great offers but especially a big thank you to a member here that informed me about a kit to make my impact accept the mags on the left side of it instead of being in my way on the right.
I had no clue about such a kit, happy happy happy.

HW/Weihrauch  The beginning

Took a trip up north to my buddies today. We worked on his range. Here’s a before pic.
IMG_8417.jpeg
I cut at least a dozen trees down to open things up. What a difference. Unfortunately every tree hung up and had to chop 4-5 ft. off at a time and let it drop.
IMG_8418.jpeg
This is finished, got 68 yds. cleared so far. This is where I get 35 ft. poles for my range to hang targets. I brought 2 back today.
IMG_8425.jpeg

Any way this is the guy that introduced me to Weihrauch’s. And this is the gun that changed my ways. He offered it to me, a no brainer.
IMG_8424.jpeg
IMG_8428.jpeg
It’s a HW80 Black stainless. The stock is wood. And it shoots like a dream.
IMG_8426.jpeg
I’ve got the initial 5 shot card at purchase. Awesome day to say the least. Crow
