I was talking with @rsfrid / Ross yesterday and told him that I had some serious withdrawals from not being able to do any shooting lately. I have both of my rifles up for sale so I don't want to shoot them. Over 1-1/2 months ago I sent my .177 caliber Pistol to be tuned, and still have not received it back . Then the "new" Reximex RP came in and it had a defect with the Fill Probe, so I sent that to be modified and not sure when I will get it back .

Ross suggested that I make a Blow Gun. Well as it turns out I built several Air Cannons many years ago and they will shoot a 1-pound projectile vertically OUT-of-SIGHT . So this morning I set up a paper target tapped on a cardboard box out at 20-yards. I filled the cylinder up to 50-Pounds, yes 50-pounds, and blew a rather large nasty hole in the target . The projectile went through the box and continued out another 35-yards where it hit an Oak tree and ricocheted across the street another 15-yards .

I feel so much better now, however I’m not sure how to score this target

On Saturday June 15th, OKLAHOMA City Gun Club put on a “Get To Know Day”. So we put out a handful of the targets we shoot (disciplines). We wanted to let our AirHeads to shoot at ones they may normally not. Thom Davies said it best ”I kinda felt like I was at Disney World for airguns. Try all the rides and then go back and do em again”. Our own Joe Underwood came up with an idea and we just tweaked his idea a little! We shot at the Field Targets, XFT, N50 and 1/10th scale Silhouettes! The new Targets we just finished are the Silhouettes. These are a little difficult to say the least. You do this standing: chickens @ 20, Pigs @ 30, turkeys @ 36 and the rams @ 45 yards! Next in order were four N50 targets. Then the XFT and then last in order were the Field Targets! It sure worked out really well. They had a blast and a lot of fellowship. I think we had between 18-20 shooters show up!!!

It's the only custom condor fitted with a FX barrel liner. Shoots with FX like accuracy.

A couple of weeks ago I posted that my Gen 3 0.22 cal DAR suddenly lost about 250 fps of velocity. I returned that gun to Aim Sports for a replacement. The new gun arrived today and I just shot a 55 shot string of 14.3 gr CPHPs. I got about 50 good shots from about 3000 psi down to 1500 psi before the velocity started to drop. The 50 shots were all between 900 to 940 fps. So it appears the reg is working. Now to see if it holds air and the reg continues to work. Fingers crossed!

I am planning to sell my Diana 54 Pro Beech in .22 caliber and wondering what it should bring on the used market. It is very clean and I just got it back from a factory rebuild including new piston, spring and trigger group.

I found a tin of JSB 10.3 gr pellets with the gray label that I must have had for 10 years. I needed to sort some for use in a match. These are the most consistent pellets I've seen in a long time. Wish I had more.

I looked out my back door this afternoon and seen the most birds on the ground wandering around. I believe most of them were starlings and grackles. My first thought was target rich environment but then I wondered if they was eating bugs and maybe the bugs chewing the leaves off my young avocado tree and mango trees. Things that make you say Hmmm?

Hi, I've been hunting for several years with bolt action rifles and shot guns. I have decided to buy a FX Panthera Hunter Compact in 22 cal for hunting, 50 yards max, for small game like quail, dove, turkey, and squirrels. In my opinion I think a PCP will be a better option for small game instead of the shotgun to avoid wasting meat and finding pellets when eating the meat. I've decided to go with the Panthera compact because I'll be adding a folding stock to fit it my backpack (or with a sling sometimes) since majority of the time I hike in to my hunting spots and sometimes have to walk through dense brush.

Just wondering what are some of you hunting with for the small game animals and what kind of set ups do you have?

Just going through some of my guns, and posting some things up which I don't shoot all that much. So I'm listing my Kalibrgun Cricket II Tactical with 600mm barrel, Carbon Fiber stock, and in .22 cal.

Not really looking for any trades.

I am a second owner of this gun having purchased it used from AoA late last year. It came tuned to shoot 15.89/16 gr pellets beautifully, so that's how I left it. Really no accuracy difference between JSB 15.89 domes and Hades pellets. I shot some targets this morning at 50 yards and had a can of AA 16's available, so that's what I shot. I apologize to the gun as I am much more of a plinker than any precision target shooter, and my groups show it.

I only found one little blemish on the gun - actually on the muzzle's thread protector. Shown in a pic below.

I took 28 shots with the gun this morning - the first time I have shot it in several months. The very first shot was accurate at 50 yards, but was about 22 fps higher in velocity as compared to all other shots. So I removed it from the string, and the chrony numbers shown are for shots 2-28. All groups are 7 shots, as the magazine holds 14 rounds.

Comes with 2 magazines, fill probe and a bag with some fittings, small o-rings and silicone lube - just as I received it from AoA. Does NOT come with the scope and rings seen in some pics below.

EDIT: For those with keen eyes, that is a short piece of thin, sticky back, foam weatherstripping on the cheekpiece as a little insulation between cheek and bare metal. Easily removable if not wanted.
