So I just received my m4 last week and have just shot it a few times and really haven't had the chance to test out my dope chart that I did on element optics ballistic app. So I got to my in-laws today in Arkansas and man I love family but I need to get of house with some trigger time!! So at 133 yards I seen two squirrel doing there tree dance! So I sat up off the of a tree using my arm as a brace and sent a howler 12gr slug and hit on second shot! I couldn't tell the wind from my position but man a head shot ill take it!!

Selling my my Fathers collection of BR shooting pellets. Have over 700 plus tins of pellets, 98% unopened. 80% are .177 cal with rest being .20, .22 .25 .30 .35 up to .50 cal

Shooting JSB KO Mk II slugs out of a .22 RAW at 825fps produces fairly good groups out to 50 yards. The groups average no larger than 1/4" at 25yds and 5/8" at 50yds. Since this is a fairly low speed for slugs, is there good reason to believe that the slugs will destabilize, and therefore accuracy decrease, as I approach 100yds? Or would they remain stable and produce groups roughly twice the size of what I get at 50yds? Or is there no way to really tell unless I actually shoot at 100yds? The reason I ask is because I don't really have a way to shoot up to 100yds anywhere near me.

Gets sixty shots per fill from a 250b fill down to 130b. LOVES jsb 10gr v3 slugs at 900fps, also really likes griffin 14gr slugs. Haven't tried any pellets in this really.

OAL is about 33" with the moderator, the gun shoots quietly but it has a slight ping to it, not bad though.

It's been taking a back seat to my new to me U2 compact.

I have a real urge to get a Prophet Performance. I have an Impact X Mk2 and love it, so i'm ok with bullpups, so what are the pros & cons compred to the Impact? I,so far, only shoot pellets, so i dont want a slug barrel on a Prophet. What are the pros & cons of PP1 vs PP2 vs PP3 etc?

I really tried to do my own work on this one. I have searched this forum and YouTube for information and have come up short. My intended use is daytime fun ( I can't really justify it but I want to play with one) and night time pestling. Budget is under a grand. It looks like there are a few trusted brands in that price range (Pard, ATN, Arken) and most have a LRF option. FWIW I have a hand held TideWe laser range finder. So what would a built in range finder do for me?

i will start by saying that i hate the fact that i have to look for this ugly barrel band on such a good, expensive airgun- this seems to be a weak point to its design but hey, it is what it is..

i will swap my cylinder for a 700cc carbon bottle (2024 dreamline lite with .30cal 600mm barrel)

i am looking for a cool looking barrel band that has a rail on the bottom for the bipod

i can not find anything except those ugly looking tinny bands that fit the barrel/cylinder.. but not much for the carbon bottles

so maybe some of you got already some bands for your carbon bottles and care to share a photo and a link to the product

i know one can print 3d anything but i cant.

this is the bottle i will get- length 410mm, diameter 60mm..

Using the bottom and upper rubber plug locations, has anyone come up with an adjustable butt pad that would also allow the gauge to be seen?

I prefer to keep the scope as close to the barrel as possible, but the stock rides high in the shoulder. I can't help but think that someone has already created something for this slight inconvenience.

These were done with a 25 cal. Umarex Zelos with over 200 pellets through the barrel, the regulator set to 2000psi and the hammer spring flush. I used a Nate Chrony that is reportedly calibrated at the factory but I do not have another chronograph to use for comparison. In all of these shots the tank pressure was well above the regulator pressure. For each pellet there are two strings of five shots. Perhaps it is obvious to you guys but it took me a minute to figure out this screen, The data you are looking for is below the line of buttons that say "Save 1, Save 2..." The columns from left to right are 1st string, 2nd string, 1st string FPE and 2nd String FPE. The rows from top to bottom are low, high, average, spread and standard deviation, then the rows below the dash are the individual shots.

I recently got an Umarex Notos, which I am thoroughly enjoying. I very quickly realized however, for my plinking habits ~25 shots per fill is just not enough. I realized I was spoiled having started with an Avenger and getting 120 shots per fill. I looked at various cylinders, and wanted to start small (cost, as well as my cheap pump probably wouldn't handle a large cylinder). I wanted to get a feel for what a very small portable cylinder would get me. I do plan to get a YH in the future, and will likely get a larger cylinder then.

I have seen Stubber's calculator, but it is focused on larger tanks and I wanted to see not just how many complete fills, but also what incomplete fill pressures would be as the cylinder dropped below the max pressure of the airgun. That way I could get an idea of what as small (0.5L) cylinder would get me. I created a simple spreadsheet to estimate the fills and pressures (hopefully its accurate), and figured I would post it in case it was useful to anyone else.

On another note, Christmas brought me the 0.5L cylinder and valve I decided on after playing with the numbers. The estimation seemed to work, and I got three full refills on my Notos stating from a bit below 300bar in the 0.5L cylinder and shooting 3 magazines between fills (21 shots - probably still a little over the reg pressure). That is about what the spreadsheet predicted. I was also able to fill the 0.5L cylinder from empty without issue I stopping whenever the compressor temp got to 40C and resting for 15-20 min - complete fill needed 12min first run, 8 min second and third runs, and a 4 minute run to final pressure just below 300 bar. I stayed a little low because the guages on the compressor and the cylinder valve disagreed a bit, so I stayed on the safe side.

I haven’t logged in here for about two years. I’ve been through two floods from hurricanes since 2022 and my Airgun stuff is all in storage. Is there any reason beyond initial installation for the slug pin prob to be adjustable . If so for what . All you can do is shorten it because of mag . Is there a reason or time to ever shorten ?

Just got my Delta Wolf Performance fac .177.

I bought it to have a rifle that shoots most of it all and that are easy to change ammunition by just clicking the computer. I own a BRK Ghost and wanted to get rid of the mechanical adjusting when changing pellets/slugs


Due to the marketing:
Select caliber
Select barrel length
Select pellet weight
Select fps
And the software will do the rest....


Problem is that the software only has 13.42g and 15.89g pellets loaded in .177 - which means you are limited to this if you want the software/chrono reading to adjust fps by it self / use the rifle as marketed.
Advanced mode doesnt give the fps select option. Advanced mode works like a normal adjustable pcp where you digital set the speed (Volt) and weight (dwell time) of the hammer.


This rifle is a masterpiece in the software - but the software is limited to two pellets weights in .177.
For this price and for how is being marketed - there should be way more options in the factory set!


Daystate should state this so buyers are aware of this. I was expecting to have the opportunity to select the most common ammonition for .177. At least weigth JSB 10.34g, 13.43g, 16g, JSB KO 10.03g, 13.43g and some H&N and/or Zan.


I hope they will release more factory sets to upload in the rifle

I have been working on machining a new internal moderator design for a couple months now and finally got it done and put together last night.... That's all I will say about it as it's taboo to discuss here. I tested it out today on my woods range and it actually works better than I expected... The first full magazine group I shot was a little low due to the little extra weight, I added a couple clicks to the scope and shot a second full magazine group at 50 yards....I'm very happy with the overall results.....
