I was just going to take a look at the Custom Shop and found it’s gone. Just a message saying that the Crosman Custom Shop is discontinued. What a bummer! Maybe related to the news of their recent purchase?

The gun is in excellent condition i purchased it back in march of this year asking $1450 shipped OBO.

Gun is in like new condition scope is not included. You can pick between .22 or .25 cal. Comes with 1st regulator bypass for better refresh rate and consistency but i have the original parts to convert it back to stock. Asking $1300 shipped.

I've been playing around with my Krait Standard just for fun. I've generally shot pellets at around 900 fps give or take.
My Krait reg is jammed and came that way so it's pretty much un-adjustable while I await a replacement reg.
Trying to get optimum tuning is difficult to match my expectations since I'm limited to just adjusting the hammer spring and pellet weights.
With 15 gr pellets it's way too fast until I get the hammer so low it's inconsistent.
18 are a bit closer but still flying.
So today I remembered I had some 26 grain JSB's and gave them a go. At 35 yards they are nice and tight and FPS is very consistent. They are also shooting at around 805 fps.

I know that shorter barrels need more pressure to get to speed, but I'm now wondering if shorter barrels may perform better in general at a slower speed to allow the pellet to be more stabilized? IE a longer barrel at more pressure allows more spin/stabilizing of the pellet before it leaves the barrel? Therefore a lower speed keeps the pellet in the barrel a bit longer without needing to stabilize as much forward velocity?

I could be way off or over complicating this as I'm no expert on ballistics.

I was just surprised at how well these performed at over 100 fps slower speed while actually increasing fpe.........

Sold Pending Funds! I’ve decide to let my Daystate Wolverine .25 Hi-Lite go. It’s a super shooter, and holds air with no issues.I average 3 full power magazines before I top off, but I’m sure a few more could be squeezed out. This is a non-regulated model, but it has the sling-shot valve. Averages 46 ft. lbs @ 912 fps with a 25.4 gr JSB. I’ve easily managed 1/2” groups at 50 yards, so I bet it’ll come in m.o.a. Im trying to make a low end tune. About 35fpe. Reg pressure about 75bar.

Problem is that in those low reg pressures the spring hammer wont add speed even when i start from the loose end spring tension.

Do i have too strong spring?

My observation only! I find the difference in glass clarity seemingly only marginally better- depending on the scopes compared of course! But a significant other is not so readily apparent. I find I can get decent view with average glass and good magnification, but I find I suffer eye fatigue after 60-90 minutes of shooting use. My groups stay tighter for longer periods of time shooting with great glass. Granted, I’m closing in on 60. This is why I’m a delta fan. Yeah they’re expensive. But I see why when I don’t use ED glass, my zero tech thrives are HD. Best bargain for me so far. But delta is another league, the 56mm bell really helps less than young eyes. Especially target shooting at 100 yards or more.

Up for grabs is a very clean SightRon SIII target scope. ( Model SIIISS1050x60LRMD). Glass is perfect , mechanics are perfect and the body is as close to new as a used scope can be, No notable scratch's, dings, ring marks etc. The scope comes with the neoprene storage cover , papers, and box shown. I had this one mounted on my CZ 457 VMTR for a while . I used it maybe 5-6 times before deciding I wanted to go back to a first focal plane set-up on this rifle (since I really don't do any kind of serious target shooting) I am the second owner. I would like to do some backyard plinging, pest control, but also long distance shooting at the range - 200 yards.
Total beginner to the airgun topic - used to shoot 22cal long distance decades ago and loved it.
My idea is a 22cal FX Impact M4 with Sniper or Extended barrel length. I will need a good moderator/silencer (DonnyFL?) as I don't want to annoy my neighbours.
I also want to be able to shoot 35cal slugs. Will I need a FX Slug Power Kit and or the barrel tension system or other FX accessories?
I'm also would love to have a good scope - for the long distance and pest control. Night vision is not needed.
Is it ok to start with a pump and maybe get a compressor later?
And more questions: which range finder, do I need a chronograph in the beginning?, rails, which Bi- or Tripod?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

So, got the m3 to shoot and the air had all leaked down. Refilled to find a leak at the adjustment for the power plenum pressure and no pressure at the third reg. Replaced o rings in the pressure adjustment for the plenum reg, refilled with air and now there’s no leak but still no pressure at the power plenum reg.

Had issue with my valve and had to rebuild it its a JT3 the part of the valve where the knob is was the problem so i ordered the rebuild kit and the new piece was different anyone else had this problem ? my old on has an o ring grove the new one does not it came in friday and it was to late to contact them is all that it needs is an oring ?
