GX CS4-I In Stock

The GX CS4-I are back in stock on the GX site.

Next exit step complete. Targets pulled to be donated

Completed pulling the targets from my course this morning. Going to donate them to two retired friends who are wanting to build a long range air gun course and to a young father and son who are just getting started with airguns.

Most of these I made and they have served very well over now several years, taking tens of thousands of hits

Other  Quiet, pcp, semi auto bday gift for my son?

I’m new here and I’m lost in this pcp world of guns and would really appreciate your help. I need a gun for my son’s bday with the following characteristics.

- pcp
- semi auto
- less than 7 lbs
- must be quiet for backyard shooting
- my son is small, so a smaller gun would be better but it doesn’t have to be a pistol
- reliable
- I was hoping for a $500 budget but it may have to be $800?

I ordered the hatsan sortie but I cancelled bc I was afraid it would be too loud. We have a Benjamin marauder and we love it but it’s not a semi auto and it’s really heavy. He’d like something he could walk around with and shoot. And if you have an idea but it’s too expensive, let me know anyway. I may have to increase my budget. I’d really appreciate your advice! My son thinks the sortie is on the way and I haven’t told him I cancelled it yet! I need to find something. Anything I can do to help keep my kids outside and off screens is greatly appreciated.

LPVO for a PCP - good focus under 30yds? 10yds?

I have a PCP for pesting (think 30 yds, at most) and want to get more accurate than a red-dot allows. So I am shopping LPVO type scopes.

Pretty flexible on things like FFP/SFP (finding 90% of them to be SFP, parallax at 100yds), reticle (doesn't matter much to me)

Primary concern is close-focus ability, since this will be for a <30yds application. I realize that zeroing will dial things in, but don't want to make a purchase mistake if I can avoid it.

Are there any tips/recommendations, if I want good focus at close range? As in, no blurry image at 10yds or so.

Just one fill of a gun is all I need

If I pull out one of my non bottle guns , Mutant,Veteran,Vulcan, oops not the Vulcan 177 it gets 100 shots per fill,
And I want to shoot 30 to 60 times , I put a valve on my little tank and it works for one fill, Maybe a little more had not tried seconds with it.
Alway thinking of the easy way, LOL.

FX  Need help with Wildcat Mk3 bt malfunction

Today I was shooting my new Wildcat MkIII bt vp and had what seems to be some sort of major malfunction. I was casually shooting some different types of ammo to see which one my gun likes the best. I have maybe 300 rounds through it total since I got it last week. Today I got about 100 rounds through it, then refilled to try out the FX 50 gr diabolo pellets. I shot about 9 through it. They were grouping very nicely at 50 yards. Then I chambered a new pellet, aimed at my target, and fired. The round flew high and right about 5 inches from the previous group and the shot made a slightly different sound than usual. I also felt a small puff of air on my cheek. When I went to cock the gun again, the charging lever will neither come back fully, nor go forward fully, and the mag seems to be jammed in the gun. I have not touched it since, as I don't want to do anything that would void the warranty. I will also note that I have never fooled with either of the regulators, as I just got it and was trying to find the best ammo for it before I toyed with any tuning. Does anyone have any idea what may be going on here???

N/A  What " One gun " to buy

Basically I sold all my PCPs, I still have 2 physically in the house but they are sold, I will enjoy them until I have to ship them.

I've always wanted a quality Traditional gun but never had the drive to get one, I have a Gamo Hunter sport .177 that I like a lot and also have a Titan .177 that I also like.

Thinking eventually to get a quality gun, I'm leaning into the .22 cal and I definitely prefer Pistons rather then springs,

Diana used to make a few piston guns but I don't see them anymore, the HW90 and the Beeman counterpart have always intrigued me.

What shall I do ?

Umarex  Show of your Umarex NOTOs

I love this little Notos. I am making some aftermarket hand guards and accessories for the Umarex Notos. Its a great little compact gun but for me its missing Mlok and picattiny rails to attach a flashlight and other accessories.

If you have any ideas on what you make next please leave a comment. Lets see what mods you have done to your NOTOS.

Brocock/BRK  New .22 Brocock Compatto Sniper XR

Just got my .22 cal Brocock Compatto Sniper XR from AoA Wednesday. I didn't know anything about Brocock except it is a sister company to Daystate and as of late they may be sharing some technology. So, I took a chance on the Compatto and so far I'm happy with it. I wanted a rifle that was short, lightweight, accurate, synthetic stock and had adjustable power (hammer spring). It checks all the boxes. I have it set up currently shooting JSB 18.13s at 805fps on mid power for about 25fpe. Once sighted in, I shot this 11 shot group at 40 yards:
Compatto22.jpg

It seems to just as accurate as the Daystate Huntsman Revere which is a nice surprise! My question is, does anyone on this site have any data such as speed and accuracy for different pellets at different power levels with this rifle? I tried the JSB 15.89 and 13.43s at different power levels and they were not as accurate as the 18.13s.

Introducing myself

Hello folks. I'm just introducing myself as a new member. A lifelong Hunter and shooter of firearms, I eventually extended my collection to break pellet rifles and PCPs. Years ago I started out with a RWS .17. I now own, an FX, Edge, Kral and Hatson, mostly in .25.
