It was probably a good thing since I drew a couple special hunt permits and had to buy some tags I wasn't planning on buying quite yet. Dang, hunting is getting to be a rich man's sport. I about gagged when I saw how much an out of state elk and antelope tag was.

I have my Notos zeroed for 25yds. The max I can shoot in my yard. My problem is the first few shots are way off in the mornings or after the gun has sat for a while. Usually to the right, with no change to elevation. I was thinking a slight leak on the regulator but the elevation doesn’t shift. After a few shots it groups back up nice and tight. What is the problem here? I put a picture of the group below with a corn kernel from my squirrel feeder death trap for reference.

Am currently waiting on my fx king .22 fac am wondering what weight slugs should I been going for as standard straight out the box without upgrading anything as I’ve heard of people up grading the hammer to heavier one to fire heavier slugs over 30gr , any info would be appreciated as it’s my first fac slug gun and new to it all

Say I am planning on my first field target match, well first one in over 10 years, down in the twin cities. Was able to talk my wife into allowing me to shoot the match while we are in town ........ for her birthday Gotta say I love this woman as she lets me do things like this, though I am sure it will cost me some how. lol

But I have been shooting this rifle and while the rifle will shoot lights out all the time, I just can't seem to get anything repeatable. Having issues mainly with the bolt movement, and getting things lined up on target. Then the off set grip has been taken quite a bit to get used to and not twist the rifle when shooting. I am really wanting to keep the rifle and to keep shooting it, but I just can't get comfortable behind the rifle! Do you guys have any ideas or tips to help with the comfort of the rifle?

I really don't want to move the rifle down the road to the next person, but if I can't get comfortable behind the rifle I may end up selling the rifle......


Any thoughts or help?

A mother and 2 baby skunks have decided to make home under our deck. Guess I’m a softie in my older age as I’m wondering if there are any methods to make them move out. ? Just not super keen on shooting the little guys . Wife wants them gone like yesterday. Won’t even sit out there. lol.

If I’m doing my own reloading of my 9mm pistol rounds why couldn’t I use that same lead for my 9mm airgun or any other equivalent powder burner caliber?

So strange request everyone....I am looking for an inexpensive co2 pistol that is LOUD! my 87 year old grandma uses them to scare geese off her lawn.she doesn't actually shoot any projectiles, she just uses the noise to scare them off. I bought her a very cheap daisy pistol that works pretty good, but grandma is looking to step up her game in the ongoing goose wars in her backyard. Any suggestions?

I got into airguns specifically to take care of some rats in my modest-sized suburban back yard. We also have rabbits and squirrels, but I like those critters. In fact, we put out our fruit and veggie scraps for the rabbits - which is how I got into the rat hunting business.

I started with a cheap Gamo springer, before I knew any better. In .177, no less! It was a Magnum and between the difficulty of cocking it, accuracy issues, and downright wrong caliber, I quickly spent a bunch of money on a PCP setup.

Anyway, on to the story...

I've had some decent success, taking out three rats so far, one per night. I camp in a dark part of the yard and shine a light onto the area where the rabbit food is. Rat comes sniffin around, and I shoot it. Pretty easy.

But not rat number four. This is the one I've started calling Speedy Gonzales.

The other rats were slow, creeping up to the food area. I'm only 15 yards away, so I do have to be still and silent, but I always got them. Sometimes it takes a couple of hours of waiting in the dark, though.

Now Speedy, he's built different. He doesn't stand still, he runs instead of creeps, and is generally a maniac. I've spotted him at least 15 times over three nights and never had a clean shot. He'll run out, grab some food, and before I can get my eye to the scope he's gone again. And even worse, it's around an hour before he comes back into my sight again! He also spooks at the slightest noise and disappears. I even feel like he can see me, when the other rats couldn't.

I'm going out there again tonight, hoping for a lucky shot. I'm figuring out his patterns and favorite foods, but it still won't be easy.

Wish me luck! And wish Speedy a swift departure from this earth.

Looking to upgrade the scope on my Daystate Revere that I use for HFT from a Hawke Airmax 30 6-24x50 SF to an Athlon Heras SPR 6-24x56 APLR7 SFP MOA and am having difficulty finding one in stock at a good price. Cameraland is out of stock and does not knock when the next shipment is coming due to the tariff battle. A large retailer in Pennsylvania has them in stock, but has a less than stellar customer service reputation. Any suggestions regarding where to look. Thanks, Tom

This rifle is in excellent condition. It will come with 1 magazine. Scope, mod and bipod can be discussed. It shoots great, i would just rather have a bullpup or a gk1 carbine setup. I have a project “pifle” for sale. This pistol was originally an AA .177 S400 lever action rifle that was converted by Peter Plesinger of TGAG to compete in pistol FT competition. I have not shot this pistol for quite a few years. It does not hold air and it would make a great project for one who’s so inclined. The finish on the bottom of the stock around the pressure gauge is marred from the surface that it was resting on while in storage…the wood is not damaged. just for your information my gun is a AEA Megalodon 22 inch 58 cal and my pump is GX cs4-i with added gx water/oil filter and added vibration hour counter

how often do you get the airtanks mounted on your guns checked or replace them?

what psi/bar do you store your guns when not using them? on 4500 psi max fill tank?

what do you use to clean and maintain your gun, i have a silicone oil made for airsoft guns its a liquid should i buy anything else and for what part of the gun should i use what?

when cleaning and oiling the gun do you take it apart and oil the inside of any parts of the gun?

when cleaning the barrel do you push a cloth towards the breech or pull a cloth towards the muzzle end? does it matter if your only using silicone oil and a snake with no metal?

if the gun is not regulated how far down will you shoot the tank before refilling?

do you guys fix and maintain your own guns or is it common to send them in to someone to be worked on?

how often do you guys replace a part or an O ring, im new to this and currently have zero spare parts and limited knowledge of the inner workings of the gun so im concerned it will stop working and ill be forced to send it in or be stuck with a non working gun, also i want to keep it working safely, i try to take very good care of equipment like this

what parts should i always have on hand to ready with a quick at home fix?

Well I do not remember antifreeze being used in the air compressor. I know many keep there compressors in there home.
I use too till my better half told me no more, to take it to my shop. I had no problem with it freezing till this winter. Yes after
filling my gun from the last shooting of the day I try to drain it with the water pump inlet pull out of the water tank. But that
did seem to get it all out this winter. I,m thinking of adding some antifreeze to it come winter time. I can,t see it could hurt?

Again protecting the Bird feeder . Two youth Squirrels , one brain shot and my first heart shot kill . Both hit the ground with a thud and never twitched a bit. Motionless , which i get most of the time as i only aim at the brain , Today i only had that perfect heart shot so i took it .
As a side note i buy two (20 pound bags of bird seed every 3 weeks ) The squirrels will eat about 2 pound of seed a day . so the birds eat 3 pounds a day . .
