I have been considering a PCP. One of the top of list features I wanted was the power wheel. I also like the looks, air tank is strealined ! To me the scope appeared to be mounted a bit higher than I would like, due to needing clearance for magazine. Would like to know measurement for scope center to bore. It did not seem to affect the accuracy any, Nice groups. Good review, tks Dale

Using Hawke Match medium height rings (13mm from bottom of scope cradle to top of dovetail machined surface), there is 1mm clearance between mag. and the scope tube (not the section under the turrets which is lower). Thanks again for another great review! - What a great thing 'FX' has done here in bringing the 'Streamline' to market. Very Nice! - After watching 'shot show' and 'IWA' vids, I see a lot of future options for some fantastic PCP's in the reasonable price range for many more of us out here.

An excellent video review of the Streamline, thank you for the clear and straight forward way you present the facts.

One thing that I have not seen in any of the video reviews of the Streamline that I have watched is how to fine tune the velocity of the rifle. For example, I understand the Streamline comes with the power adjuster, three presets that adjust the FPE setting at approximately 10, 20, and 30 FPE. What if I wanted to tune the rifle to say 680 FPS with a specific pellet? How is this accomplished?

I realize this is more of a tuning/tinkering question, however, we do shoot airguns, and we all like to tinker.

In Airgun Depot's description they state "The hammer-spring can be adjusted at the back of the breech". So you should be able to get some extra adjustment there. I think I've read that it may be hard to adjust due to a thin nut that doesn't want to turn but I'd like to hear more about this adjustment too.

I've got the .25 in walnut, and with the adjustable FX mounts the comb height is way low. I added a Beartooth Comb Raising Kit, which is a PITA to install, but gives perfect alignment. It also covers up the beautiful stock.

Without the comb height add-on, you find yourself straining your neck to keep the sight picture. Matt Dubber mentions this issue in his full review of the FX Streamline. My scope is the Airmax 30 6-24x50. If I had a smaller scope, I might could get by with medium rings, but I still think the cheek weld would be off.

With all that said, I think this is a fabulous gun for the money. The walnut stock is incredible with excellent fit and finish. and features you find on much more expensive guns.

When he talks about stripping the adjusting screw he's not referring to stripping the threads. It's the hex hole where the metal is thin. So he "strips" out that hex hole and then uses an easy-out to get out the threaded screw The thing that scares me is using a torch to soften the lock-tite. If I was going to attempt this I think I'd try a soldering pen applied carefully to the stripped out hole to heat up the screw without cooking the surrounding breech.

Excellent video. I appreciate everything and all the quality that it's put into the videos, also the accuracy testing is unique to any other channel. As for the streamline it's a very nice rifle, light, powerful and accurate. A hunting machine and overall a great airgun

Nice gun I would love to shoot an fx. I have 2 Hatsan air rifles. Bt65 in .25 and an edge in .22

I think the laminate stock version is in my near future!!

What people would really benefit from in terms of reviewing a gun like the Streamline is a head to head comparison with the 4 or 5 other guns in the same price range.

We are fortunate that, if you go to market with a budget of around $1100 these days, you have a choice of a number of really excellent air rifles. That kind of cash gets you a Daystate Huntsman, a BSA R10, a Taipan Mutant and now the Streamline.

What I really want to know from online reviews is which one I should choose, or at least an objective opinion on the subject. 

imo, best video Ted ever made was his comparison between the FX Wildcat and the Bobat. That video would have been helpful to anyone deciding which FX bullpup to buy at the time. It was much more helpful for me than his actual reviews of each of those air guns separately.

I don't think I'm over-generalizing if I say that, going forward, every working air gun made by FX, Kalibrgun, Daystate, Taipan etc will probably be awesome. Surely a reviewer's job is to help us decide which one is best for our needs. If not, then what?

Ted said he was going to do a head to head between all the bullpups a while ago. I was looking forward to seeing which one he thought was best but he never finished it for some reason. He just got as far as posting a video of all the bullpups that the various stores had sent him. It had the potential to be the most useful review done to date for PCP guns....

A complete review of the Streamline, for me, it has to put it up for direct comparison with the Huntsman and the R10 (as a minimum). That is the decision people will be making. We know they are all great air guns but every reviewer has to have an opinion on which is best... 

I know some of you fellow air gun addicts alread own both a Streamline and Huntman (or an R10). It would be interesting to hear some thoughts on the subject... I.e. Which one would you recommend to a friend etc?

Also, those that also own a Royale, how do they compare? Is the Royals still worth the extra cash now that the Streamline is here etc?

Definitely an interesting gun, I would like to see more guns designed for lower fill pressures to lower the cost of a fill setup. I also would like to see a few more groups even if not on video to get a better idea how the gun actually performs. I'd love to give one a try.

I'm so happy to see these qaulity guns becoming more affordable. That walnut stock and the laminate are drop dead gorgeous. I'm torn bewteen this streamline and the royale.. I will wait for the streamline to be out for a while longer before deciding. Let's see if it can hold true to its older siblings

Looks like a great, feature rich gun. I like that the power wheel adjustments are actually positive and that lower power means more shots. The only negative I can find about this rifle is that the comb is set too low for most shooters using medium or high rings (which you have to so you can clear the magazine when inserted). Since it's not a .308, I guess using a medium cheek weld will not kill you with no recoil, but if you do a lot of target shooting, that might get old after a while. You could also use a comb pad or riser. All in all though for what you get, I'm sure it would be doable.

Steve, on that 100 yard group, do you think that single loading the last pellet had anything to do with how far it was from the first four?

Great review , I really do think my next rifle will be an FX. FX continue to push boundaries and the airgun community is rewarded for their work. 

Perfect little combo, Price and power. Looks to be more accurate than I thought it would be. Great little squirrel rifle.
