How do you prop your gun up?

Here's what I build and use. 

I use the Caldwell shooting bags and the Caldwell dead shot tripod. Both work really well. 

I always shoot offhand or kneeling w my front left elbow rested on my left knee.

Well, bench rest I use these bags;

Or my monopod Trigger Stick;

Sandbags on the bench and Harris Bipod in the field.

Sand bags pn the bench and a trigger stick for hunting.

Very carefully!!

Usually the Atlas bipod except bags when sighting a scope.

I mainly hunt, so I dial in with an Atlas bipod and rear sand bag, it is what I normally use when I’m in the field. The gun harmonics match how I intend to use the gun. I don’t carry a vice or benchresr gear in the field, so I do not use it when dialing in. On a benchrest gun, I would use benchrest equipment that I intend on using while shooting benchrest.

at home i use caldwell bags on the bench.

in the field i look for a 6' to 6 1/2' stick and use it like outdoorman. it's much faster than using regular shooting sticks.
