Two things I have learned the hard way and would like to share for the benefit of all:
1) The days of "you get what you pay for" as a strict rule are over. It is possible to pay for top quality and not get it, just as it is possible to pay a lot less and get quality. Each case is different and the buyer must do due diligence before spending his money.
2) With so many buying options, it is a wise man that waits and moves slowly before making a purchase. Unless there is a valid reason to rush such as a limited quantity or no longer in production, Patience almost always pays off with a lower price, free shipping or a combination package.
Having this forum is a great equalizer in that we often learn of a good, deal, the value of various items and what does and does not work.
