FX Crown and JSB 33.95 MKI

Hey All

Trying to find the best settings for a .25 FX Crown Shooting 33.95 MKI JSB pellets.

From whar I’ve read on here, it seems that I should be looking for 850-860 FPS for best results.

2 Questions:

1. What BAR did you set your regulator to in order to achieve this?; and

2. I can increase my regulator pressure with air in the gun, but cannot decrease it unless I drain all air? (Just want to be sure I have this right.)

Thanks All!

Reducing regulator pressure without degassing, see bottom of my tutorial:

Regarding settings, I have the regulator set at 150bar to get around 900fps, but I have a .25 LW poly barrel installed. Could be that the STX likes a lower speed, but it is easy to find out with the adjustment knobs of the Crown. Try what it likes best :)

Note: The .25 an .22 Crowns need more hammer spring tension to reach higher speeds, it might need re-adjustment of the sliding block. (Stock needs to be removed for this)
Mine was is a 30cal originally, which is already set up to reach higher speeds.
I'll see if I can also make a tutorial for this.
