Yep, except for being banned from GTA, it always worked better than AGN. Sorry to say that, but it is true.

Amusingly I signed up for GTA just to check it out, registered, did my intro post and got banned with no explanation. That's got to be a very weird forum.
For the admins of the site here, it sure feels like a DNS resolution failure, maybe the name of the database? The way the site is lumping in, delayed, lumping in again, it feels like DNS resolution isn't working somewhere in the chain here.

Lol! I had to shave twice while waiting for this to load. Reminds me of unwrapping a used gun where the seller wrapped around and around with too many layers of bubble wrap and a whole roll of tape.

Ping times to the site are good.
Might be DNS or an over loaded SQL server...
It could be a DOS pointed at the SQL server as well.
Seems to happen at all trd of the day.

For some reason they wouldn’t even accept me on their forum. After I did the registration thing they said they would get back to me If I was to be accepted.That’s what the message said and never heard anything back. I thought that was weird also.

I haven't had any problems on GTA. I've been a member for years, but haven't used it much until lately. Think it might be my preference now. Not sure what's going on here, but I've about had enough. I'm sure the owners are doing their best, but as the divorce lawyers say, sometimes love isn't enough.

It’s still slow but couldn’t even load up earlier today no prob with any other sites. Ha I also looked at GTA never been interested in joining so I guess they cant ever reject me. I find their layout to be rather odd as well. Hope Michael gets it figured out.

I really enjoy this forum but It’s painfully slow, then it zips along for a day or two then back to extremely slow motion again. Is anyone else noticing this?

I've used a lot of other forums on various topics and AGN is the oddball as far as layout and function.

Something is broken with the AGN server. It was not loading at all earlier, but, while it is better now, it is still slow!

Today I waited for 7 min for a page to load, actually gave up and went elsewhere. Hopefully some one iscwirking on this, or are we being hacked by the antigun folks?

GTA was once a great forum. If there was only one airgun forum on the web and it was GTA I wouldn't frequent it.

I’m a member of several airgun site….across the board never had issues.
been a member of gta longer than agn…agn just seems to be a better source of information for FX stuff.
however, now that I own a raw…I might spend more time on rapid sites.
