I first started shooting the dime because i noticed how many shooters compared their groups to the size of a dime.

I have posted the 177 and the 25 pictures of shooting a dime.

This is my last gun the 22 Marauder.

    Specifications:

Back of dime on the type pellet used

    Front of dime, 22 cal

22 Cal nickle and a Dime, the nickle is much stronger

    177 left, 22 center, 25 right

    All three guns, 25 yards

Actually, this wasn’t a challenge thing for me it was Lets see what a pellet will do to a dime with different calibers foot lbs etc.

I like punching holes in paper and i don’t like a mess, bottles, plastic things etc., so this also satisfied my anal neatness.

Don’t use a penny because i shot one this morning with the 22 and it ripped it in half.

That sounds like a nice reasonable accuracy test/challenge, this was just lets see what happens to the coin.

For an understanding or example of what foot lbs results in with a common item.
