Everyone is looking for something for nothing. Unfortunately, reality bites us in the ass. The big difference between these cheap Chinese compressors and the quality high end compressors is heat management. Of course this is where the money is..Yes, you can buy a $300 compressor and the then spend $1000 in cooling mods ending up with a half baked rig or you can buy the correct rig in the first place. Guess which is less costly?
If you must use the cheap compressors, buy a TIG welding torch cooler. Incorporate that and use a very long coiled high pressure coil of tubing interconnecting the different compressor stages. The tubing should be fan cooled. My German Bauer uses about 8 meters of inter stage tubing. A TIG cooler uses a 15 liter tank with a radiator and a fan. The output is a 1/4 line and the pressure is strong enough to fire a water stream 40 feet. For what they are, they are relatively inexpensive.
Don't put cheap Chinese compressor down to make you feel good about spending 4 k on your Bauer. Then yong Heng compressor is nothing but cheap junk. It's a well made affordable compressor for the money. It gets the job done. Only thing I suggest is get a gold filter which is like $70. Don't need to spend $400 on a alpha. Who needs to spend $1000 on cooling the yong Heng. Money must grow on trees where you live. Cause home Depot sell $5 bucket that you can fill with cool tap water and ice and it will keep the yong heng cool.
