Ha ha. I chew my food. CrowYou see the same thing down below. But, they give you a PCP with a 1L bottle and a broken hand pump LOL. @crowski with a HW30 in .22 you ought to have time to eat a sammich while watching the pellet flight!
Is that what a 30 does to a lizard?@crowski I’m glad I’m not the only nut shooting under lights. I do it since after my son goes to bed is the best time. I shot my R7 177 today. I took an intermission from the target at 25y to shoot two invasive lizards at 17 yards. I didn’t expect a lot shooting the 25y target. It was a windy day and those 7.33 gr aren’t the best at bucking it, and I’m a poor springer shooter haha.
The rifle still has under 2000 pellets through it. I don’t know why #23 and #25 struck so low. I will have the labradar running next shoot to see if that will tell me anything.

Yup, perfect rifle for the task. I’m shooting 7.33gr. The smaller lizard camouflage itself well just below the board right edge. I got that one first on the fence, it fell and it’s buddy ran to check on him and got a pellet himself.Ha ha. I chew my food. Crow

The days are getting short quick here. Lights are the way to get more trigger time.Out for a night shoot with a HW30 .20. Love this gun. Have a Walnut .20 on order now. Can’t wait for this one. Special. View attachment 595308And the last for the night a HW30 .22 cal. Check mate. One of the favorites. Outstanding accuracy. The lites allow me to easily watch the flight path of the pellet. So cool. Night shooting is also a favorite. View attachment 595309Crow
Soon be dark at 4;30. Such a drag. The lites are worthy. Beyond the range it’s pitch black. Really odd looking. Range lites up excellen, especially in winter. CrowThe days are getting short quick here. Lights are the way to get more trigger time.![]()
This little Milwaukee China special works great for me. The low setting at 30 yards works perfect with my 36x Sightron. The days are getting short quick here. Lights are the way to get more trigger time.![]()
interesting, I think I get it!My first pel trap back in the eighties was for paper targets. It had lights inside and outside the trap. It connected with long extension cords to a switch box to select in or out. You could shoot your group, switch it and see your group. I wish I had pics.![]()
I had a long bulb and built a heavy screen cage to protect it. The trap reflected the pellets in, and the light out..interesting, I think I get it!
My HW97 in .177 , I love this air rille, a quarter size groups out at 40 yards, with no win, of course, lolView attachment 595886
