What springer did you shoot today?

I just got this 50 back together. I’ll try tomorrow to shoot. We’ve had rain for over a week and I’ve never seen the mosquitoes so heavy.

Picnic with family Saturday before going to our family farm pond at dusk to cast flies for bluegills. 3 strikes and did not get a hook up. Shot an HW55 and a 1919 Light pattern Improved Model D BSA off hand at a plastic bottle 40 or 50 shots lit up by my headlights.
Went to Clarks Creek this evening and caught so many Brook trout I lost count. And the biggest trout was a very nice Brown with lovely color. Took a local young man along and he caught a few. He lost the biggest trout of the evening (16 or17" perhaps) trying to land it. He always has a great time fishing with me. Laughing and having fun. We didn't have time for shooting today.

Finally got a rifle out after grinding trees and branches. Took out a pleaser, a HW97 .20.

Here’s 10 rounds 34 yds.

And 10 rounds at 46 yds.

And finally I hit one of the hardest targets on range. A spinner where a pole in front of it guards it. A small piece of the bottom can be seen. The pole is 3 yds. in front of it. Best targets are hidden partially.

I hit the bottom, first time, ever, 6-7 shots later. Great to be shooting again. Couldn’t post last night due to the Internet. Crow

I'm resisting mine until I have a range worthy of it.
We're making progress with blood and sweat. No tears yet 😁
Our fire has been burning almost constantly since I started back there.
After the last two rains it was still burning.

Awesome. That’s something I’ve wanted for years. Just didn’t take time to research them. Then it would be , which rifle gets it?
I’ve had good practice at clearing. We can burn but have to pay $ which is ridiculous.
I scored this from DR a company in I think Vermont. Just came in last week. Excellent quality.

Its so nasty back there. It's all vines wrapped around everything.
Most trees are snapped off half way up with the tops all tangled in the vines.
I'm cutting out the Gum trees and keeping Oaks. The main Oak I saved can hardly get a leaf into the sun for all the vines. The vines are all clipped at about seven feet and hang off the tree like a giant wig. When I cut down a tree the canopy comes down with it. Several tree tops are still hanging in the vines.
The vines also have the ground tore up, weaving in and out of the ground all over the place.
I guess that I have about 40 yards, twenty feet wide, and 65 yards, five feet wide.
Once I brake through this rough mess, it's pretty clear back there, like woods for walking.
