What pistol did you shoot today

hi haven't heard from you in awhile ...I have watched a few of your videos ...well done...since the last time you influence me with all your toys..I now own 3 of these 1861's...3...44 Peacemaker's...3...MK I/II...8...38..T/C...SA6....Crosman 454..1600..Crosman 600 Mint...3 Daisy..1200's...Healthways 175 and Marksman 1045...2 Crosman 357 with barrels...and the Gamo PR-776....The SA6 is fun to shoot but it's a pig on air only 24 shots ...did a mod on the hammer to fan it...the peacemakers won't let you do this ...I think I can get around that safety thing O-Yeah..I was trying to forget this one a Hatson Jet II...biggest junk ever made it's in the corner where I can't reach it..all the metal on this gun is rusting away... anything else new to you at your end
@Septicdeath is definitely a bad influence, I cal say that my Crosman 38T, Daisy Powerline 44 triple barrel set and Crosman 157 are all in my collection because of him!
The next airgun collector's fayre near to me is coming up at the end of October, so I will be checking out the tables for a nice Crosman MK1/MK2 or maybe another 38 in 0.22 flavour.

This one definitely warrants real wood grips IMO. Does anyone make such grips for it?
I am sure there are people out there that can do this ...I am going to give it a try ...it's mainly just the time ....I tried swapping the black stag grips to a 44 peacemaker...they were close but no cigar...off by just a little bit...Here's a link.of a very rare SA6..that was made in Canada..with no listing in the books about it...in the video....he makes his own set of grips for it..enjoy... you tube

Hi Modski…how many Sparklet’s have you gone through today …lol..my opinion here if I had to choose I would most definitely lean towards the MK1…in .22…for a nice one in are market expect to shell out $185.02 Pounds or more depending on condition…unless it was already done recently..buy a reseal kit as well you will use it sooner or later ..look for the older model with the adjustable triger…I have both and I don’t feel the difference…but if you happen to have a extra $185 Pounds or more and you see a early version of a Crosman 600 ..if it’s in mint condition..Don’t Think About It Just Grab it…if you are looking to mount any optics on the MK1…these mounts are getting hard to find…B - Square mount ruger MK II dovetail mount…42877..blued..42878 Stainless

@Marker I used two 12g co2 capsules on Thursday evening in my Crosman 157, S&W 78G, but just the one "SPARKLER" in my 1957 Hammerli Sparkler. 😜

Thanks for the MK1 advice, I would prefer to have the larger calibre, but it is pot luck as to what the sellers bring.

Maybe the S&W 80G will be making another visit, it has been at the last two fayres, but I have put it back down on both occasions.
Still not sure if it is something I want in my collection.

OK just shot my (new to me ) TM1000 pistol , YIKES what a sweet shooter , but a very large stretch of the definition of "Pistol " specially when it requires an optic . sighting in took two clicks down and 4 clicks right , then pellet on pellet @ 20 FPE .20 Cal . took the moderator ODB off for a trial . put it right back on . will see about tunning it down to 10 FPE .

No not that 80G, this 80G...

But it isn't a pistol, so it doesn't really belong in this thread. 😂

Me again…I might have been wrong about buying that 80G…I found one on eBay for cheap because it leaks air out.. did some research for parts and came up with nothing available for this model… all I could find was from JG Airguns a download for a manual…unless you know of a different maker that uses the same parts in there model…She was almost ready to give to me .I told her I had enough wall hangers

Looks like I will be keeping to a nice safe Crosman MK1 then!

Springfield Armory Hellcat. CO2, .177 BBs.
Got this for the home range when I can't make it to the range with the PB.
I don't care for the trigger, and I don't like that it's not field strip-able, but I do like the accuracy. Short barrel BB guns seem to be all over the place ... some are reasonably accurate while others are downright useless. This one delivers tight group. I'll keep it.
350 fps after a few shots and it settled down. First few shots were close to 400.

Back at it with the Hellcat again. It will indeed push black diamonds down range at 400fps. Not bad for a short barrel blowback pistol. But note that the blowback travel is not the full range of the real PB, but only about 1/2” or so … just enough to load the next BB. Perhaps this limited blowback travel helps to deliver a higher muzzle velocity?
I get 3” groups at 10 yards with black diamonds.
My Colt Defender (also short barrel) yields 1” groups under identical conditions, and with comparable muzzle velocity.
Hmmm.

My last 38 C .177 to rebuild…this was originally bought as a parts gun..it came all the way from ..Wailuku Hawaii..even had the Original Crosman Gun Bag…I decided to take it apart and see what was missing…of course all the hard to get parts were missing..I was able to find all but the sear spring…it’s a ... .125 x .500 spring I should be able to find something locally …it was in nice shape as a whole ..it will be a few weeks for the parts to arrive…will test then
