What pistol did you shoot today

Nah, just lazing around looking at the various airgun forums. I do get an alert when someone posts on this thread though, hence my speedy response.
I see why you have it on alert. This is my favorite thread on AGN. The diversity of air pistols on here is unlike any other thread. Often discovering air pistols I never knew existed.

Shot my Diana 6 pistol today , kinda' stiff to cock but pleasure to shoot , also a real handful to hold at arms length . makes me think of a custom butt stock for it .
I think that’s the improved version of my old Diana 5. Both of these were made back when these things were made of steel 👍. Rebuild it as necessary but never sell it

Hi everyone today I shot mt new gun that arrived today…not a expensive one just a plain fun plinking pistol…The Gamo PR-776…177…trying to get this out of the packaging was insane…the gun looks and feels awesome..first issue was the Saftey and Cylinder release button was stuck..so I gave it a tap and all’s good…dropped in a sparklet and air lost was little…loading the mags were easy…I pushed them all the way threw flat…with a wooden dowel..it didn’t like the round nose ..the H&N wadcutters worked the best all around…they claim 120 shots as seen on TV..lol…real life I got a solid 90 shots…I am very happy with that…trigger is a little on the stiff side ..maybe a little more break-in time …the only thing I could complain about would be the top and bottom rails are narrower than a dovetail for accessories by .105…why they would do that.. I got no answers for that blunder…it groups well…for inexpensive fun this gets thumbs 👍 up…I ordered 6 more clips ..they are all metal as well..and I think I will order 2 more factory seal kits from Gamo…me and Mr Henry Ford had words the other day…I will tell you the story another time

Had a go with the Baikal MP-46M at 25 yards offhand, 2 hand hold, using Kruger targets. This was shooting JSB Match 7.33 wadcutters at 448 fps at my outdoor home range here on the big island of Hawaii. This is the best score and X count I have shot yet at this distance with any pistol! Mods are the AV grip, upgraded trigger, scope mount and MatchDot red dot set at 2 moa. Trigger is awesome!!

Put a new to me Hawke Wide View on the HW45. Works great. Now it’s me vs the beast at 11 yards in the basement for a little time between work and dinner.

A low bar gives me lots of room to improve. It really doesn’t matter as long as it’s enjoyable.
There you go. One of the most fun and/or frustrating things I’ve ever shot. You’ll like that reflex sight on it. Having the trigger adjusted to your liking makes a world of difference. If you haven’t seen the Jimmie Dee’s instructions let me know and I’ll post the link.

Hi guy’s…I added a Red Dot 🔴 to the Gamo PR-776…to the micro dovetail they decided to use on this pistol 🔫..it’s about...110 thousands narrower…one of my most favorite phase is…”that it can’t be done “…yeah right…challenge excepted…this mount was a 10 dollar from a pickanary to a dovetail…tore it apart removed the screws and springs…filed about.090 off the big end…and trimmed the guide pins down to give me more internal clearance …need shim stock to fill in the gap…could o ly find it in China not wai a month for that..looked around and there it was wooden Q-Tip‘s..measuring over wire..chop them up and painted it black…so yes it can be done…so in total I now have a $135 invested in this budget build…works for me

one more thing do not buy a Henry Ford kit for that 1861 they do not fit./..the valve stem is .052 to short and the O-Ring that goes around valve assy is way to big and the piercing seal is .035 to thin it will only work once,,,I tried to talk to him about it..and he snapped at me ...he is a total Jerk...if you need the right stuff for that 1861 ...I know a guy

The SA6 is definitely a gas hog. But such a fun gun to shoot. Hahn definitely had a fantastic idea with this series of pistol. Had the perfect marketing with all the Western tv and movies of the time.
