What pistol did you shoot today

Today’s choice was the Crosman MK1 in .22cal…I replaced a few seals last week and did a quick test shoot…it all went fine …today’s test was for accuracy @ 10 meters on the bench bag…I was totally impressed by its groupings .. I think in my opinion that this gun in my new #1…for Realistic Looks…Weight & Balance...Accuracy…Power…Shot Count and all around Plinking…What’s left is to cleanup a few of the Chips try to match up this paint is going to be difficult..it’s like a Glossy Dove Grey Color and maybe reblueing a few pieces..what kills me the most that someone would use a pair of Channel Lock Pliers to remove the Cap Screw…and reck the knurled

Today i shot a Webley Hurricane .177 and tried an old tin of Eley Wasp pellets . Wish i could get my Iphone cam to Email to my PC to post here . ( maybe i can stop some 16 year old at the mall probably fix in less than a minute ? )

Excellent! The MK1 is one of my top favs as well, and for many of the same reasons. Someday I’d like to find someone who can make a set of cross hatched wood grips for it. The MK1 lends itself to some really cool mods.

That cap screw can be re-knurled if so desired. I acquired a “cut knurl” (as opposed to a regular pressure knurl) for the lathe that cuts nice criss-cross patterns into such things.

I reckon you would also like a Schimel. Very Luger-like and surprisingly heavy for a pistol. They nearly always need to be resealed, but seals and some other parts are still available. Almost loud enough to be mistaken for a 22LR at the range.

“Knock Knock”…Who’s there…It’s you Lady USPS Driver…I have another Gun for you …Do I Shoot First and asks for Identification Later…She says she has a Gun…lol..So I bought another Crosman 38T..but this one was in .22cal…It was a barn rat for sure..filthy dirty and sticky…what would I expect for $60 dollars…. I gave it a oil bath and kept cycling it …I dropped in a CO2 Cartridge…I couldn’t believe it..it freaking hold air…so I loaded it up..not liking that part..round nose keep rolling over backwards..sent a few down range to clear the barrel and tweak the sights in…I had some slugs that I ordered for another gun…they were sized to .2165…21 grains..so they were a little loose…I sent those down range…they made paper..lol..time to get serious now and try out these FX Pellets..15.9 heavy hitter’s…put the one eyed patch on..and air mailed them out without postage due…lol…the target will speak for itself …first target is with slugs ..2nd were FX

Gave the Daisy Powerline 44 a trip to the range today, not particularly accurate, but it's nice and smooth to shoot. Only tried the 4" barrel which was WILDLY inaccurate, and the 8",which was better, but then the capsule ran out and it was time to head home.

Nice set…I just have the old .375 model from 40 years ago but it punches a hole at 10 meters…while I have your attention..how things across the pond there.. I have been looking for crosman .22 wadcutters..part # 6-11248…seems that Crosman only make them for export and they are not available here where they are made..and when I go to your website there they will not ship them back to the USA ...what’s up with that B.S….lol

What did I “Fix” Today…I am on # 2 out of 3…S & W…78G & 79G Air Repairs…# 1..wasn’t to bad just leaking at the piercing seal..top end was fine…Butt # 2..well we all know what that means..”poop” 💩..this thing was leaking like a macaroni colander ..full tilt tear down…this gun looks new …but never judge a book by its cover..how true…it has never been apart…parts were stuck but good …managed to get it apart and replaced all the seals except the valve…the one in the kit was plastic junk…was able to flip the seal..ok pur it all together and the cocking lever was sticking …took it apart 3more times..nothing wrong that I could see…I never checked it first ..to know if it was like that before…this must be a later model it doesn’t have a adjustable trigger…well it hold air and if is functional …by the 2nd CO2…it seems to have fixed itself…right now I don’t know and don’t care ..it’s working…not to impressed with the grouping so far…let’s see if hold air tonight and I will give it another “SHOT”…lol
