N/A What gun amazed you?

Well, my .25 Condor can sling a 33.95gr pellet at 1000FPS.

How abut 200FPE with a .257?
Texan for 800 used, $1000 new (blemished)
Lothar-Walther 34" barrel
Good out to at least 200 yards
And that is the least of the Texan line

The most reliable and robust platform. Action unaffected by dirt, grime or rain.
perfect for farm or hunting.

So, no you do not need to spend $2000 for your list.
have at it !!

The variety of airguns we can get to our hands in Canada is very limited, but I think I have two that is well worth to mention.
My FX Impact MK2 was a great learning curve, a toy to play mechanic, and right now I am at a revision M3.5 with it.
But the one that really impresses me in a wider game spectrum is my Leshiy2, also not in original stock condition for a while now.
Both are keepers.

My RAW HM1000x .25 amazes me every time I shoot with it. Loves Heavy MkII's and has the smoothest action and trigger in my arsenal. Smiles all the way! The Katran L .25 next to it is a contender as well. Trigger not quite as refined but very light for a "long" gun. Both were a great deal on the used market at the time of purchase.

Thanks, I'm blessed to be able to have them for the time being. Here's a pic after going through 2 mags on both rifles with no break at 40yds. Nothing spectacular but pretty good for me doing rqpid fire. The Zulus is fun to play with....super easy to set up with the one shot zero feature. N

Some guns mentioned got me thinking more.
1) FX wildcat mk3 is my current do-it-all gun. It's accurate, light, ergonomic, powerful, and easy to like. I had some trouble wrapping my head around tuning such a powerful rifle, but with some help on here to set me straight, it became a consistent laser.

2) My FX Crown is an easy gun to like. You can tune it up or down for any barrel/pellet combo you like. It seems to shoot well even with a less than ideal tune.

3) One airgun that never disappoints is a Brk Sniper HR. Old style bolt action that hits its mark every time without any fuss. Bulletproof!

I've never suffered most of the grumbling others have with FX rifles. I had two Impacts that were stellar a Mk2 ND a M3. My Crown, Dream Tac and Wildcat are fantastic rifles. Sure they're like high end cars, but with some patients, mine have performed well. So we'll, I tried to buy my Mk2 Impact back and the guy liked it so much he wanted to keep it.

My very first adult air gun amazed me.
Daystate Pulsar in 22. The accuracy was unbelievable to me as it served as my introduction to PCP air guns.
I wish that the gun had been reliable. Electronic problems and an unreliable magazine advance killed my love for that one but the accuracy was stunning to me. I did it’s job and hooked me on PCP’s.
Then My Maverick Sniper in 22 sealed the deal. It was the cadaver for my learning to tune and repair my own air guns. There should be laws against what I put that gun through. Still it held up and delivered when I did not have it messed up from learning. It would shoot 1 1/8 - 1 1/4” groups at 100 yards shooting prone with a bipod and using my left hand as a rest for the back of the gun.
Then I just had to have an Impact M3 so the Maverick got traded off. Another cold lesson about air guns. I love my M3 600mm 22. But it really doesn’t do anything the Maverick couldn’t have done except the shot cycle was a bit smoother and the hammer ping wasn‘t in my ear. But slugs on target? The Maverick gave nothing up to the Impact.

1) Kalibrgun Cricket II Smooth .22 - This is my first $1k+ gun and it's slinging JSB 20.83s at 906 fps. Amazingly accurate, light (got the carbon fiber stock), fairly compact at 32 inches with DonnyFL Tatsu attached.

2) Reximex Meta .177 - this is the standard tube version that I bought from the classifieds for the main purpose of shooting up a lot of my heavier .177 pellets. This thing is built like a tank with the accuracy to match. Currently running JSB Monsters 13.43 at 900 fps. A bit heavy but I actually like the stability the weight gives when shouldering. Using for light backyard pesting so I won't be trudging this around for any length of time.

Ok, let me state that I’m new to Airguns. Not new to shooting. I just picked up a Hayden flash qe refurb in 22. for the simple fact that I didn’t want to dump a ton of money into this if I didn’t enjoy it. Sighted it in at 25 yards tonight with a fixed 4x scope. easy plinking out to 85. First round Impact at 85 no problem. (Need to re zero at 50 or 100 now) honestly it shoots better than my old marlin 22lr. I'm Excited to get back out there and push the limits of this extreme budget build.

The Taipan Veteran 2 Tactical 550mm .22 I purchased from Dillon is just so accurate, quiet, sublime cocking and with a fabulous light crispy trigger pull, reminds me of my RAW HMx but in bullpup form. It's also more efficient with air than my RAW, both shoot pellets and slugs very accurately.
I have the 700mm in 25cal....love that gun.... thinking really hard about getting one in 550!!!
