What did you do airgun related today.

There are 2 small character scratches in that shinny plastic looking coating , and some circular dents on the bottom nothing in the wood though. I was thinking of fixing them , but I learned not to when I was a Gunsmith. Besides I'd probably make them worse. I tried to download pic's
, but this phone keeps going to Drive , and not to files.?
Unless catastrophic its best to leave the guns character alone .

Maybe add a war story on how it got there .. lol

Like " son, this scratch was made hunting savage squirrel out back along thd western fence when one suddenly leaped at me and i had to defend myself.. .". Bully ..lol

Tested out the 10.03g JSB Knockouts Mk3 on a rabbit. I've been using 13.43g slugs which have been awesome as far as penetration but not expanding reliably...thought I'd give these another try and @ 25yards on the rabbit it expanded well and plenty of penetration...check out the slow motion and pics

I worked on these today. Karma Eq trigger guards with a lower pic rail. Not perfect yet, but this is the first one off the machine.

Was messing with the factory tune on my FX Royale 500 just tweaking the hammer spring settings a bit today.

The factory did a good job putting JSB Kings (25.39 gr) just off the knee averaging 888 fps, ES around 8 fps with 1/2 to 5/8 inch (ctc), 5 shot groups at 40 yards. The PCP falls off the reg at 120 bar.

A slight increase to 904 fps dropped the ES to 3 fps and the one group I shot was 3/8 inch ctc.

Looking encouraging 🙂

Will do some more testing at that setting to see of it's consistent.

Final paint on twirler thing. All black or white got hard to see certin times of day ( irons st 50y) . This ( so far) white with black paddle seems to that stand out better ...

Haven't shot scoped in over a coons age so this morning i slapped the talos 3-12 on the poor ol'gamo. Last i used it was at 75y, but dismounted and remounted after months of laying around in the shop it was still pretty close to on .

Gamo , 50y, gphp.22, 1-1/8" bull

Still that "one" plagues me Everytime.. 🥴.

Today I took backwards (lol) cantilever mount off the 350 mag , and used some rings that got it about a inch closer to bore. Then I mounted the cantilever backwards on my tactical Gauntlet , so now I have to turn that around . I was wondering why they put the tightening nuts on the wrong side. Lol
Edit: Tried to turn the cantilever around the right way on the Guantlet , but it would not work
The eye relief on the Spina scope is so far that my cheek was resting on the rear of the stock , so I had to move it to notch 4 which is as far forward as I could get it , and still be able to insert the magazine. Anyway the mount is working good on backwards.

If that scope has that far of eye relief maybe its a pistol scope?

I fint get why a rifle rifle scope need to be put that far forward i guess normally rifle scop s eye relief is about 4"+/-.

My bad ... I see long eye relief scopes at up to 12"". Thats putting one out there on the muzzle i guess ..lol

What brand /model/power scope is needing to mount so far forward .?
