Tuning Vulcan 3 fill issue

I degassed the system and now I'm trying to fill it back up .

I tried to fill it several times cocked and uncocked; everytime I go to disconnect the fill probe and vent the line, the gun empties the entire tank back through the fill probe.

I must be missing something. Suggestions?

Sounds like the check valve is not closing at the fill. If you an see the fill hole inside the probe hole try to put it up when you degas the line. Might have to thump the butt stock with something while degassing, I use a book.

I'm going to give that a shot when I get home tonight. It's brand spanking new and I degassed it to replace the small gauge with a Sekhmet so it might just need some convincing to close and then hold the air.

I usually use my cartridges of the world 13th edition as a soft deadblow hammer. I’m an ironworker so if it doesn’t fit or work try a hammer!

So I found the problem; there is a flathead countersunk screw and o-ring inside the fill block at the end of the air tube. The screw and o-ring are behind the tiny hole inside the fill port. The screw was loose and was cock-eyed. I tightened it down, reassembled everything, and now the air stays in the rifle after bleeding off.

Correct. FB 2.0 with limited Edition Muzzle break. Looks like a tank barrel.

The screw and o-ring are 26 & 27 in the diagram. They are located inside the fill block.

I like the Sekhmet gauge you installed. Did you have to modify the stock to fit it? I just got a V3 from Talon Tunes and the factory gauge is a bit small to read.
