RTI RTI Mora, "Come On Man!"

Consistency in spades! Nothing I've experienced in the past can match this type of consistency. The Mora in .25 caliber is quite simply the most accurate PCP I've ever had the opportunity to shoot.

Accuracy is the result of the culmination of several factors all enjoined to created the desired effect. It's a great feeling when everything comes together and that X ring disappears. However, the most important thing is having the confidence in your equipment to know you can do it again and again, at will. Consistent repeatability is literally everything and that's where this gun really shines.

Here are six 100 yard targets all shot between 970-978 fps. That's an aggregate total of 150 shots (no sighters) with an average SD of 2.0 and an ES of 7.7fps.

Ridiculous in the best possible way.

Hey Joe, Where ya going with that gun in your hand?

Sorry couldn't help it.

What Reg pressure and valve setting? I have a bunch of those for my 600mm as well but haven't shot them yet.

The regulator is at 105 and the dwell is simply as closed as I can get it while still achieving the speed I want. Usually that's somewhere around one full turn from completely closed.

What is the outer diameter of the bull? That is some nice shooting! I’d like to run the targets thru OnTarget to get the composite group sizes of the targets.

Tony
The target rings (8-X) are standard RMAC sizes. But if you want some groups you can run these thru OnTarget. The large squares are 1 MOA/100yds and the blue diamonds are 1/2 MOA/100yds.

Joe,

I‘d like to use those 6 targets you shot. With OnTarget you can plot each individual shot and then combine them to get a group size of all the plotted shots. I can’t seem to find the dimensions of the RMAC bull so if you could just get a quick measurement of the outer diameter of the bull that would let me do the work.

Tony

These seem to be the “official” 100-Yard target ring dimensions and scoring rules - from the ASA website:

I think I have it! The targets that were shot are the ASA targets and just have the 8 ring to the X shown. I think it will be interesting to see just how all of the shots come together.

Tony
Unlike when one is shooting "groups" and staying focused on a single POA, these targets were shot for score and therefore the POA changed from shot to shot having undergone adjustment from the resultant previous shot, a technique called "chasing the shot". So, while displaying the relative POIs of each of the 25 individual shots on a single backdrop may be interesting, little in the way of useful data can be drawn from doing so.
