Hi guys I’m new to the PCP world. Looking into Big bores. Looking for some direction and advice on few big bore rifles I have in mind for hunting deer. I hope I’m posting in the right place. Please let me know before I continue.

Big bore is a fast growing niche of airgunning just now. If I were to make a recommendation for you today, I'd have a better recommendation tomorrow. Seems custom big bore ammo is developing just as rapidly. You've got your work cut out for you.

I'm shooting a hotrod Airforce Condor .25 launching 37 grain Rat Sniper HPs at 1050 FPS (90FPE) and eliminating pest deer and coyotes at 50 and 75 yrds. I'm satisfied until something comes along that I just can't live without. I like the flat-shooting .25 over the loopy .30. Ammo is cheaper too, and also requires less air. My gun was inexpensive too. To replace it with something better would cost too much. If economy counts, take a look at the Condor.

I've been looking into several manufactures or custom builders. Correct me if I'm wrong. They are American Air Arms high power rifle,Western big bore bush buck 45 cal and professional big bore air gun 45 cal. Still trying to research on these air rifles. There is also a greater amount of production air guns out there.

Have not seen any real world data, and don’t know how it compares, but that Hammer looks promising.
