FX New Bottle Installation

The "depends on the gun" comments are referring to whether or not the gun has a valved tank or not. Some newer guns have a valve in the tank that allows for the tanks to be swapped when full - a great feature for out in the field.

If your gun does not have that feature, you'll have to degas to swap the tank as there will be nothing to contain the pressure in the tank.

I've never seen an FX tank without a valve.

another related question, if opting for a whip plus 3 litre or 1 litre bottle to take with you can these be refilled at home from a 12litre bottle?
Sort of, can you, yes will you get the same max pressure, no, close but no. The one liter will be the closest. Somewhere here on the list a smart guy has a write up on it.
