Krale And UPS Import charge??

I never got an email back from Krale but they were pleasant to deal with when I called them. I was at home so my cell phone was on my internet and it cost me nothing to call them. English is not their native language but that only affected them for a few seconds. Once they heard my English they switched and were fluent. You have to call them in the morning due to the time difference.

It is perhaps not the most polite way to deal with it but another option is to just call the credit card company and explain what happened and that you have returned the gun and ask for a credit. I doubt there will be any issue. Or you could call Krale first and resort to this if they don't want to cooperate. My experience is good with credit card companies whenever I have a problem. My guess is Krale will not be a problem. They are polite, they just don't want to get involved with shipping problems.

UPS will be here in the next few hours. I will decline/refuse delivery so the Snowpeak P35X will be automatically sent back to Krale. If I refuse delivery, I won't be liable for the $860 import tariff according to the UPS Service Rep.

My plan is to let the gun be automatically returned to Krale. After this, I don't have a plan :). I'll probably email them with the order and shipment number and just tell them I refused shipment. I also know I could dispute the charge with credit card company, but don't see the need for that just yet.

I also might call them per your suggestion, once I determine the international calling rate for my AT&T mobile plan.

Actually, it looks like it's $3.00 per minute to the Netherlands with my AT&T plan that does not have international calling.

I think I'll stick to email for now...lol.
If you have a newer cellphone 2021 and up you should have wifi calling. You just have to enable it on your phone and you shouldn't get charged.

I have an iPhone 15 Pro and *do* have wifi-calling enabled, always have. But, I was not aware it was good for international calls too. Thank you!!
