HW/Weihrauch HW40, Light trigger & Spring tension issues.

Greetings,
My HW40 has always had a light trigger, but it has recently started having spring return issues for the first stage.
If you release the trigger prior to firing, the trigger hangs loose.
I thought I would discuss the problem here to see who may know what's is going on with it before opening it up.

Mine does the same thing, tighten the trigger screw until it returns on its own and you’re good. I have to tighten mine probably every 6 months.

Don’t take it apart, they are a nightmare to put back together.

i have had my P17 opened up and had no problems but when i went to open my HW40 the cover was very hard to move and just stopped
like this post that Gary made i to made a longer trigger adjustment screw and working with the trigger out was easier
the HW40 has many springs and pins and you can see that on Knobbs site and here is that thread
