GX CS4-I shutting off

I have a CS4-I that's less than 10 days old and I have under 1 hour of use on it and it will no longer "start" at all now. Just filling guns - no tanks. Everything works corr3ectly except it will not start. It never stopped during filling but quit on the psi setting I had set. Never let pressure sit and also have the QX filter in line. I've sent 2 emails to CX (i bought direct) and have nothing but crickets so far.

Give it a few days. Got warranty parts from them twice now, both times without being given the runaround but always with a few days response time via email…

I’m sure that’s not the issue but just to make sure, you got the main switch on the right side (12V or regular) when trying to start, right?

May I ask why it is your 2nd?
The first one completely froze after 2 years of use. I used it daily and maintained it per GX and what I read here. Locked up tighter than a drum. So I wasn't disappointed that it died as I had other more expensive ones die sooner! Tried to work on it but once I got it apart and couldn't budge the pistons, that was as far as my expertice took me. My shake meter said I had over 500 hours on it and that's about right as I shoot most every day. So it cost me about $180 a year.

Are you able to post a photo of the "bad" versus "good" CS3 boards?
It was a CS4 so the boards were probably different and since I'm still at a loss to the problem, I can't say that the motherboard is the cause.

I have been hearing about some of the connections coming loose but I'm sure you would have already checked them all.
Well I had not since the unit had not been moved and had been working fine for a week! So upon some fine advice, I took the cover off and looked at it and just "wiggled" all the connections to make sure they were secure. Well, obviously the one on the "Start button" had wiggled a bit (could not tell by the feel) as I then proceeded to try it and I'll be dipped in pig s!!t, it started working. I never follow my own advice "alwasy start with the KISS method"!

They are the pinned connectors, so I just pushed all of them in. None felt loose. If it happens again, I may go in with some adhesive to make sure it stays connected. None of the wires going into the pin plugs felt loose to cause me to add a new pin adapter to them. Plus my motor skills at that level are enough to make matters much worse! 🤭 I never solder anymore as I am the one that gets the most solder!
