So nice. Was that adjustable forearm your idea I never seen that before. Super nice stippling. What wood is that OldVet wants to know

adjustable forearms are pretty common on field target rifles…this example is my interpretation of a common concept. Thank you for the nice words. The wood is figured American Walnut out of Missouri. John

Very nice work and Very nice wood. Looks totally functional too. How did you do the stipling?

My guess is the wood is walnut.
Thank you! The stippling is a series of over lapping 1/16” hemispheres, applied with a foredom tool, and a 1/16” ball burr. It’s a lot of dots! Yes , the wood is American Walnut out of Missouri. John

The kind of stock the THOMAS needs over the aluminum chassis.
But then again with a chassis rifle at near 4K alone ... adding such a stock if one could even purchase may very well add $1000 to $1500 to that figure !!!

Just a KILLER job on that ... damn impressive
Thank you for the compliment! John

Always impressed with the mad skills and craftmanship of some of the people on this forum. You should be very proud of yourself for that fine bit of kit. Thank you for sharing it with us. Mark
