That is Fantastic work ! some of the best wood grain i have seen . With wood like this i would have left it plain no stippling or checkering , but that's just me .

Normally I would agree, but in this case it's purpose-built for a specific task, and the stippling helps with the task. I appreciate function over form. Reminds me of my little sports car, modified for competition.

The kind of stock the THOMAS needs over the aluminum chassis.
But then again with a chassis rifle at near 4K alone ... adding such a stock if one could even purchase may very well add $1000 to $1500 to that figure !!!
