Well, I took the time today to shoot my FX Royale 400 at all three power settings and I chronied the shots.
My first three runs (tan colored charts) are with 14.3 gr pellets. At the max power setting, then the med power setting and finally, the lowest power setting, 28 shots from each power setting
My next two runs (blue colored charts) are with 21.3 gr pellets. At the max setting and then at the med power setting. 12 shots from each power setting.
Just for kicks, while I had the chrony set up, I did the Mrod .22 with the 14.3 gr pellets (green colored chart) - no wonder it kills the crap out of squirrels. I only shot one 10-round mag.
BTW, the chrony I used was the Caldwell G2 (kinda looks like it is up-side-down). This was the first time I used its Bluetooth feature to pair it with my cell phone - Worked like a charm! It was getting dim outside and I was starting to get "Error 3". Then, I remembered the unit was lights, so I turned them on and NEVER got an Error message again. The lights really work.
