Beeman RX, repair question

No sir those won't work!
I suggest sending it to David Slade at Airgun Werks in Tennessee for a rebuild!
Is there pressure against the barrel when trying to cock it? Or it won't latch on the trigger sear?
I’d say both. Zero resistance upon cocking and no trigger movement, maybe very slight slack but that’s about it.

If it's a German made Rx, Rx1 or Rx2. The gas piston which is really an air piston is easily rebuildable with readily available O-rings. I had an Rx1 a few years ago. The pressurized piston assembly is very simple. The hardest part is fishing out the inertia weight. Which is often stuck forward. The very early RXs had an aluminum dummy piston and an early elite trigger. The later RXs were often RX1s but only marked RX. The difference was a steel dummy piston and usually the later Elite 2 trigger. The easiest way to tell is see if a magnet sticks the the receiver end plug were the fitting plug is. If you need help pm me

RX, Santa Rosa if I remember correctly. Thank for the info!

Certainly late to this party - but wanted to understand the difference between the Beeman Laser R1 and the Rx. Lewis posted his Laser gas ram https://www.airgunnation.com/threads/beeman-laser-mkiii-gas-ram.1146911/post-1149189. From what I can make out this Ram is not readily serviceable nor adjustable. I gather from the above comments the Ram in an Rx is quite different - both serviceable and can be pressurized? Perhaps someone could confirm my suspicions?
