N/A No scope on my pistols .

,I put scopes on my target pistols ok.none of my offhand pistols have scopes,Steve-1,another thing is I can use a scoped pistol for hunting ,but a need rest.
Shooters can do whatever helps them or makes them happy. It takes more talent to be a pistol shooter than a rifle shooter.Heck most of my rifles are scoped.
My favorite handgun is my custom 1911,it will never be wearing a scope.
Ok everyone has an opinion, just some I do not like:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Even with my young eyes I wasn't able to shoot .22 cal beeds off of a pin at 75 feet.
If a pistol is that accuracy only a scope can take full advantage of it.

As many others have said, scopes on pistols defeat the value of a pistol. They are only usable if shooting at a fixed target at a known distance. They offer a narrow field of view, sit way too high above the barrel and take far too long to acquire a target sight picture. I understand the reasoning behind their use, the end user should be using a rifle if they cannot shoot a pistol.
Well I had to live with it and eliminate some pests with it but have come to the conclusion that the pistol scope does just what I had wanted it for. Offhand. Moving animals or standing targets. Magnification self contained.
I use red dots with 2 moa on two other guns and will continue. But the Huben with a quick follow up I will keep a long eye relief pistol scope or perhaps a scout scope since I’m resting elbow on chest for about 11 inches of clearance.
The UTG is barely adequate and I don’t see how a $350 Burris can be much better optically. If I want to rest on something the scope is also much better for pinpoint accuracy over 20 yards.
I also have no desire for a add on stock, plenty of rifles.
