UMAREX Customer serv.

Back in 2006 most airgunners knew this. They almost ended it for RWS back they took over the line from the extremely reputable Dynamit Nonble. Naturally most new airgun folks have no idea.

I do enjoy my Gen1 Gauntlet but knew it was basically a QB79 so knowing I would be one my own in advance no issue. Sometimes it is good to know the history of companies and it is ALWAYS a good ieda to read all warranty information before purchasing any airgun as well as parts availability from the distributor.

For that reason alone I can nolonger recommend buying a Umarex Product. They highly promote their products online and at shows but when its time for service or ordering parts they don't even answer the effing phone. When the annoying recording says leave a message it says mailbox is full. If you are lucky enough to get a real voice they tell you to hold on but never come back. Umarex products...Hell no, never again!
UPDATE!! UMAREX REMOVED FROM MY SH!TLIST.
My M1A1 completely failed about 3 weeks ago. Trigger and safety jammed. Had maybe 4000 rounds through it. Gun was a long time out of Warranty. I called them up and the guy I spoke to said he would replace it with a brand new one even with no receipt and out of warranty! I sent in back the next day and had the new gun a week later!✊😁Also in inspecting the gun looks like they made a few improvements with the mechanisms. Umarex has redeemed themselves.

My first "new" air gun was a $175 Umarex Steel Force that failed with less than 300 rounds through it.
I vowed to NEVER buy another product from them again.
I'm way more satisfied w/my Sig's, Crosman's & Baikal's.
Contact Umarex explain your story and they may replace it. If they deny it call back again another time because i think it may depend on who you speak to.

Now that they have satisfied you with excellent service, perhaps you should consider changing the rude title of this thread or just delete it entirely?
No I don't want to delete it because I want others to know they came through in the end and I am satisfied.
