Yeah they used to tell me the same when I was shooting tennis balls with my bows,....once again it's all about the juice, with the poundage bows I was shooting and the very heavy arrows I would make them tennis balls fly out da way and the arrow would continue in its path, with my airguns when I hit the ball square it's total penetration.Keep it up. An arrow is not very likely to come back and hit you after shooting a tennis ball.Yeah they used to tell me the same when I was shooting tennis balls with my bows,....once again it's all about the juice, with the poundage bows I was shooting and the very heavy arrows I would make them tennis balls fly out da way and the arrow would continue in its path, with my airguns when I hit the ball square it's total penetration.
Old scopes make great wheel chocks BTW.You are correct, they were hung from a branch and shot to pieces. Gave me much enjoyment.
YUP! Don't ask me how I know this.............It’s never a good idea to shoot at golf balls with an airgun. I learned, as did the OP, that those pellets come back with a ferocity you would never expect.
Just stumbled across these “foam practice” golf balls which work out to be 25 cents each and I would imagine they could be reused for multiple shots
Yes, I had a .22 pellet come back at me from 70 yards. I heard it whizzing and spinning back though some trees. Please don’t shoot at them. I watched a pellet come back after a fellow shooter HAD to put one out at 50 yards. He was shooting a magnum powered break barrel .22. His bench was a good 20 feet away from me. We both lucked out that day.
