Rock solid barrel, FX Maverick

I agree, but unfortunately in Europe that is not possible. In Europe the FX policy is that the sellers provide first level service. It does not work. FX has isolated itself from customer service just like they did in the US before creating FX US. I had this POI issue from day one with my Crown. The current European policy forces all product issues to be resolved at the retail sales level. Most of these folks have little interest in resolving these issues, as it is not sales and therefore adds nothing to their bottom line.

EDIT: As a recent example of this, I contacted FX customer support to alert them of the stock interference with their quick fill nipple and that a small 1.5 mm trim of the stock resolves this problem. FX's response was to contact my regional vendor in Germany for validation. I then tried to contact this same dealer multiple times by phone and email. This went on for 10 days before I got a response and this yahoo had no idea what I was saying even though I had accurately identified the fill nipple by FX part number.
Here you go again with your “safety issue”. I thought we resolved that in your thread about it! Something along the lines of using the FX connector that’s sent with the rifle. Oh yeah, I forgot you didn’t get one with your rifle, and waited a year to complain about it!!
FX haters at their best! 🙄

The POI shift/FX guns are delicate myth was dispelled a couple years ago, based on personal experience. I sold an FX Maverick in .30 caliber to the BIL of a member here. The gun was in a TSA rated hard case, and that case was in a cardboard box. Unfortunately for me, UPS had just taken away the hourly increase it gave part-time workers during COVID, so lots of unhappy employees.

The package and gun I shipped in pristine condition had been dropped so hard barrel end down, that the barrel came through the hard case. Before the buyer even told me about the damage, he called his BIL who knew a lot about FX guns. He told the buyer how to pull the barrel. What happened is the barrel was jammed backward so hard that it broke the roll pin in the block that the transfer port of the barrel sits, and it deformed the hole in the block where the pin sits.

The guy polished the transfer port and glued the pin in best as he could and shot it. It shot so well that even though I offered him a full refund, he wanted to keep it. He would not even let UPS come and pick up the gun and take it for inspection because he was afraid he would not get that gun back. I had to work the UPS claim with only pictures he provided (I will NEVER do that again, the only remedy is a full refund). I did MONTHS of work to get a $725 refund, all of which went to the buyer for the parts to repair the gun.

Whoever started the lie that FX guns are fragile or delicate, must be laughing at the traction this fairytale has received.
