Rimfire ammunition took a 15-20% hike early this year. SK, Lapua and Eley all took similar increases and tariffs could increase them another 25%. It’s the value of our money that is dropping due to governments printing money and not learning to budget.

Overall I like it. The build quality seems good. I looked at the LG 400 also. It came down to grip and hand fit. It didn’t hurt that the FWB is built in Oberndorf which is also Mausers home. I lived several miles from Oberndorf when I was young and collect many weapons made there.

If anyone is curious the 800x is a perfect fit and allows multiple adjustments on the right hand side.

I wasn’t able to find the 3.32 update but I tried the down range feature. This is shooting my FWB 800 at 25 yards. First with the Xero at 20 yards and then at the muzzle. It’s a great excuse to own multiple units.

Mine updated several days ago and hasn’t missed shot as yet but I’ve only shot pellets since the update.

My Xero is updated to 3.30 so I turned the option on and will check to see if I can detect any difference when I shoot today. Looks like 5 mph winds this morning. :)
