A high-pressure-air (HPA) handpump will work, for some it's all they've ever used. Bought an eBay (under $50) Chinese one when I first started, worked OK, all that pumping got old fast. Sits in drawer now as a backup, very glad I didn't get a $300 one. WM

I've heard complaints regarding 4-16 but 3-12 has good reviews. I've five 6-24s in SFP and FFP, IR and non-IR, can't be more impressed. Super-subcompact size and weight is perfect for airguns, crystal clear optics and smooth functioning round out the package. WM
