    Western Airguns Mordax 22

Depends on the severity of the fall. Also you have to decide if it’s you or the gun that's going to take the damage. Last time I fell hard I chose saving my ebike, lol. Fortunately it worked out that time so only a few scratches and bruises. Bike was fine. If I take my Venom on the EMTB...

    Athlon -V- Athlon ?

Oh okay then MT it is. It used to be that I couldn't tell the MT's and the FFP ETR apart in IQ. But again that was years ago when I had both at the same time

    Long Gong Challenge...........

So it was only the Long Gong Facebook group representative of the organization. Good so you can just have fun where you went and keep doing as a fun side event. That's what I'm about these days since I'm not competing for money anyway. If I'm lucky I'll win a pin worth 50 cents, lol. Maybe I...

    Athlon Ares BTR G3

Lower profile elevation turret with a stiffer action and deeper detents so more unlikely to get turned a few clicks by accident than just about any non locking turret out there regardless of price. I know how you feel though because I've had the turrets get bumped before in my S&B from stage to...

    Athlon -V- Athlon ?

The only Athlon that is as nice in IQ is the SFP ETR 15-60x60. Its debatable that Athlon used the same glass in the Heras 15-60×56. Some believe it is. My Cronus G2's don't even have as nice of a IQ as Optika 6 or my ETR 15-60. My CG2's are 4 years old so its possible the latest are improved, I...

Western Airguns Western Mordax Venom, first impressions, and eventual ongoing review.

No but next time he comes over I'll chrono it and post the results.

    Long Gong Challenge...........

LOL! That's funny in one way but not in the other way. Just a few years ago shooting airguns in PRS and NRL with pellets was almost a joke and now with slugs it's almost the opposite. They took notice when you did that well at Long Gong and they "feared the worst", lol. Darn, hindsight is...

N/A Who is Ahead in PCP Air gun Technology?

After buying a Western Mordax Venom I'd say it's nothing short of a modern marvel - precise, reliable, capped 15 shot removable mags, semi and full auto, compact, lightweight, and what it comes down to is the most fun airgun I've ever had. It's a flat out innovative piece of engineering. Topped...

Western Airguns Western Mordax Venom, first impressions, and eventual ongoing review.

Yes it's loud! He lives on 2.5 acres and says his neighbors won't care. I'm trying to talk him into using a moderator but he's spent a lot of money so maybe in time he'll change his mind. I don't have a spare one or....

Western Airguns Western Mordax Venom, first impressions, and eventual ongoing review.

I was wrong, his wife approved, good job wifey, and apologies! It turned out the acquaintance and his family went on vacation so he didn't want to order his Mordax, this one a Long Strike version, because he'd been gone more than a week, and something I didn't know about. I guess he turns his...

The best All around Air rifle scope

My best all arounder used to be a Athlon Helos DMR G2 2-12X42 because it's so versatile. Next I got a Athlon Ares BTR G3 2.5-15x50 which is a higher quality scope and is better if one needs 15x. Then recently I had been experimenting a lot with my March DFP 1-10×28. DFP stands for Dual Focal...

    Western Airguns Magazine/slugs/pellets oh my

Way too much hassle. Either sell them, use them in another gun, or shelf them until you buy a size die. Easier to just order other various slugs until you find what works the most optimally. I'd call AOA and ask what slugs they suggest using.

    Why kill crows?

I had a pet Raven too, though it was half grown when I rescued it so he never did get totally tame. He wouldn't tolerate being touched but I could feed it chunky dog food from arms length. We named him Crozy, lol, and he lived with my ducks and chickens until he could fly. It was hilarious...
