Hi all fixed my burst disk with a brass shim cut out with scissor's and an oring and its holding fine.. also is was on 8.5 FPE added 2 shims and got me to 10.5FPE and one more shim put me bang on 12FPE with JSB hades. So that 3 X 0.25mm Shims - So i might drop one more in and see what I get?

also is it possible to get a manometer in the burst disk thread - this would show us the reg pressure?

try it on 1,2,3 settings down from Max - FPS might go up!!!

sounds like the hammer cant open the valve past 100bar, he will need to use the high power spring and heaviest hammer weight. its a balancing act between the force of the hammer hitting the valve open and on higher reg pressure you need more force to open it.

heres mine on 8FPE its got 13 bellvilles and 2 flat washers? I assume you I refers to the silver flat washers?

it has this massive alloy air stripper inside - so I fitted the end cap back on ( left the stripper out) and it does go on my 30 700 but even if I ignore that its 9cm short - I would still have to drill out the end cap as its from a .177 and the exit hole is 5.5mm! so I think ii will sell it...

Yes the heavier hammer weight will open the valve for longer and allow more air to escape so this will help your slugs - but for pellets just dial the power down
