Considering that using them brings no discernable additional joy to my shooting experience, I probably use 100s of pellets per every slug used. The economies of air and ammo dictates it to be so. The exception will be my big bores of course.

Yo, that's good news The gun does everything I could expect of it using heavy pellets, so think that pushing it w more massive projectiles might be in order

I'm all for higher end guns, but if you're on a AV budget take a look at Airgun Revisions site and snag a Kratos or Marauder. Even a basic Benjamin rifle will be a keeper as your acquisitions grow

I have a leaky fill valve that I haven't got around to fixing, otherwise I'd probably be totally neglecting my other guns I like it that much

Simple and elegant I have a Caldwell stick and it's a total PITA to adjust .... the ghetto sticks seem to work just fine for me so far.

As an old guy why I like the splatter paint: recreational airguns look far better when they aren't trying to be so serious looking & tying to fit in w the HP PBs. The tacticool scheme has been over-played IMO. Throw a little color or better yet some wood & it changes everything aesthetically...

It's not a question of it really needs to shoot slugs but if it can achieve acceptable results... strictly out of curiousity. Anyone doing this?

Recent purchaser here too. Well made and arrived quickly. I'd definately recommend. I ordered 2 of the stopped magazines and Thach2264 included a 3rd that wasn't. I haven't had a chance to use them yet, but they look very nice and I'm looking forward to it.
