Overall it does not look super long to me for a rifle. I think the large-long plenum pushing the bottle forward gives it the impression of being much bigger....I dont know if you can give up some of the plenum volume for a shorter look or possibly balance.

if dumps all air, you need more. Remove all pump head space if possible or larger valve volume with more pumps.

Might want to look at these Mizugiwa spring loaded mounts. If they work as they should any scope should survive. Some have modded them to tighten them up, but no personal experience. There is also a Diana version of it that looks to come from the same factory...

Looked all over the net, called Crosman they said they are still waiting on decisions about bringing back the custom shop. If so a lot more parts will be available.

Speaking of longer barrels- do they still make the disco-maximus barrels? do not see any of those online.

Would have been nice to have this with parallax adj. or 3-12x32.. Not many options in light weight optics today... Veyron 2-8x32IR SFP Rifle Scope
