Good point on checking thread depth, tiny screws and aluminum. Overall its neat little rifle.. Guess we just have to get the little bugs worked out.

yep... likely it is a springer, set any shim down in the the bottom of the receiver hole. Set the pin depth as deep as possible then remove the shim so you have a bit of space so it will not mar up the bottom of the receiver.

Try putting out an add out for a parts gun... your takin a h*ll of a risk. You had 2 close warnings. Thank god no one was standing there. An eye is worth much more then $250.

Hi - No but there is good news, received an email fron Pinty, the correct rails will be here withing 30 days. To thir credit they stayed on top of it. This will allow many more mounting options including what most have on hand.. I did check out BKL, but they do not seem to make weaver style...

Ouch- Foam and cloth cases seem to hold moister- it has happened to me. Now I always use remoil and a plastic slip if leaving in any type of case. Try fine steel wool and oil.
