Fair warning...If you get into pcp's, just know it will be a money pit. You will get sick of hand pumping quickly and will want to buy a compressor. It is not a cheap hobby. If budget is tight, I would suggest getting a decent springer and scope with that money and avoid the rabbit hole...

I've never had good luck with Amazon shipping pellets...they always arrive loose in a box or bag with lots of damage to the pellets when opened. I was going to order some pellets from Pyramid Air, and at checkout, said delivery via amazon so I cancelled that order lol.

The more I read up on "dieseling" it makes sense and is likely the problem. I cleaned out the barrel last night and all the grease around the break mechanism (it was thick). I'll give it another try in the next day or two. Thanks for all of the advice.

Other that a rough tune, I have not had any issues. This is now one of my favorite compacts. I don't think you can beat it's size and weight. Following the tuning instructions in this thread (easiest gun I have to disassemble for tune), it now shoots excellent and I get 4 full mags out of it.

That one came off of my Benjamin Gunnar. It just got stuck one day so I had to replace it. It was quite the task of finding a correct one that fit.

I've had good luck with the Westhunter scopes, which I believe are the same as the VV.

Are you having the same issue with the exact same model compressor? They are sending me a new cylinder head as well. Hopefully it just works and is a straightforward replacement. Not feeling very lucky at this point....

Getting ready to dig in... I drained the oil, which looks horrible. Somethings definitely not right. It's also oily around this gold thing, and quite a bit of pressure comes out of here when compressor is running.
