And one more today. This one was the first successful use of my new LRF. It indicated 61 yards. Chairgun said hold over .8 MIL. Thwack. Starling down. Getting to the edge of range for this setup, with the 2-7x on the Taipan short, but it did the job.

Three more this morning, they are landing in a cotton wood outside my window, 35 yards away, at between a 40 and 50 degree incline. Wind is a rare 2-3mph so they are easy pickings, resting on the window sash. The blackbirds are also in the tree, raising a ruckus when I come out to check for...

I was amazed they kept coming back and landing in the trees and getting picked off. I think the redwing blackbirds harassing them must have confused them. Perhaps they were trying to defend territory? Maybe they were in the midst of the birds portion of the “birds and the bees”?

I am not sure. I haven’t change anything since getting the Taipan from the previous owner. I am pretty sure he got it from Tony at Talon Tunes, so likely as tuned by Tony. The hammer spring is pretty much maxed out, so I am hoping it is accurate as is, or improves if dialed down a little...

I picked up the American Defense MFG mount that fits the Zulus and it is great for the Ranger. Got the Zulus right where I want it, much lower, and still clears the magazine. Also got it over the chrono today, getting about 647fps with the GTO lead free 11.7gr so just under 11fpe. Gotta...

I recently traded for this chrono from my cousin who wired it up, custom: It has the lights and the chrono running off of a 20v Dewalt battery. He and his son are getting a radar based chrono soon, so I got to take this setup off their hands.

A pretty level headed conversation. I hadn't thought about possible across the board price raises, regardless of country of origin, to help mitigate higher prices on some products. Reasonable.
