I don't think they ever sold them in .30 cal - that said there is no reason why you couldn't put a .30 barrel and probe into it and use it in .30 

90 should be very achievable. I would stick 2nd reg at 150bar and first reg at 180-200 and see what you get from there. I presume you are getting the 700mm sniper for the extra FPS?

If you change nothing else on the rifle nothing will change as you are only changing the pressure the 2nd reg is seeing, this has almost zero effect on the shot cycle other than helping ease the working load on the 2nd reg

As far as the sub12 reg comes, they are the same reg and are restacked at the UK importer (sportsman gun centre) so in all reality it is unlikely to be that. my guess would be to restack the reg and make sure the rear reg is far enough out to show front reg pressure.

No I don't think there is a reason behind it other than the shooter on the day. If we were talking about 3-4 years of EBR all being dominated by .22 then yes there may be something there, but we are not.
