In NY state I cannot fire a PB within 500ft of a road (there are additional stipulations applying to other buildings [neighbor's buildings] as well). Air rifle, no worries. Hence the MRod. 

I think the side focus gives you convenience of just being able to glance left, rather than remove the rifle from your shoulder pocket. Using a side wheel gives the granularity to fine focus I think easier. That might be mitigated by adding a quick focus ring to the rear focus. I have a...


My M-1 may not be light, but she is built like a tank! That and the glass, I find the weight easily acceptable.

The swiping issue, yeah, I have to do it several times for the graphs to swipe left or right. Like an over exaggeration of the motion and not just once. It is annoying.

A few years ago I had a serious problem with rats around the barn. I went with the IOR Valdada 4x24 over the UTG SWAT 4-16x44. The glass really is that much better on the IOR. Closest shot was 11yrds, most were in the 20s and the furthest was 33yrds. Only one was not DRT. For target, used to...

I have the SWFA SS bubble level. Works for me just fine.

I live closer to PA than I do AOA, so shipping is faster. Is that a dumb reason to choose one over another? Probably. But I was the kid who could hardly wait for Christmas morning too.

I have a SWFA SS bubble level. $19.99. I mount it on the left side of a SWFA scope as far forward as I can. It takes a little work, but I can see the bubble level in my left eye, and the target through the scope in my right eye at the same time.


AJ, I dont suppose you could comment on the LW barrel and is there a difference between it and a Marmot barrels? I am looking at both. LW offers a polygonal barrel? Is there an advantage over a regular barrel?
