My M-1 may not be light, but she is built like a tank! That and the glass, I find the weight easily acceptable.

The swiping issue, yeah, I have to do it several times for the graphs to swipe left or right. Like an over exaggeration of the motion and not just once. It is annoying.

A few years ago I had a serious problem with rats around the barn. I went with the IOR Valdada 4x24 over the UTG SWAT 4-16x44. The glass really is that much better on the IOR. Closest shot was 11yrds, most were in the 20s and the furthest was 33yrds. Only one was not DRT. For target, used to...

I live closer to PA than I do AOA, so shipping is faster. Is that a dumb reason to choose one over another? Probably. But I was the kid who could hardly wait for Christmas morning too.

I have a SWFA SS bubble level. $19.99. I mount it on the left side of a SWFA scope as far forward as I can. It takes a little work, but I can see the bubble level in my left eye, and the target through the scope in my right eye at the same time.


AJ, I dont suppose you could comment on the LW barrel and is there a difference between it and a Marmot barrels? I am looking at both. LW offers a polygonal barrel? Is there an advantage over a regular barrel?

I have a MRod. They are easy to work on, do all your own mods, lots of info out there of how to do tunes, spare parts, aftermarket parts. If I mess up, easily repaired. I wont feel as bad if I mess up a $1k air rifle. When all is said and done, I may have close to the cost of a FX or...


Thank you for posting the pic. I have a tin of the older model. They did just ok in my MRod. Like a 2inch group at 30yrds. They grouped better than the H&N Rabbit Magnums, but not as good as the Eunjins. Will wait and see what others have to say.

I like shooting from NRA High Power prone. It is what I was taught. Dont think a bullpup will do so good in that position. And for target shooting like that with a airgun, a good two stage trigger is needed.
