4.5 out of 5 local club Match Directors here shoot sub-12 as well, so it's a hard sell to do anything not WFTF/Open friendly even if AAFTA would allow things not legal in WFTF.

As with most things, I presume it's a combination of space and the desire to keep the sub-12s able to shoot the same course.

Was a hot and muggy day, but as usual - a fun course. I think some of the targets on the kneeling lane went over without a kill shot, at least for those of us > 12 fpe. Thanks for putting on another awesome event!

Its never about helping newcomers with less skills. Unlimited gear classes only make it worse for new people that have neither skills or special gear.

There are a few women shooters in the mid-atlantic Field Target circuit, my wife being one of them. Always fun seeing people's faces when the green haired weirdo comes to shoot.
