    Detecting Scammers in the Classifieds

.ru domain "2024 online shop" just screams that it's just crap filled with any possible product, not specialized in any way to airguns or hobbies. registration date 2/27/24. so less than 3 months old. 3 quick and obvious red flags. the ebay one is a branded (hammers) item from what appears to...

    What got you started?

Covid backyard (15y) plinking with walmart Gamos turned into playing Field Target games. When I started, I figured 15y was a decent backyard airgun distance, and 30 was probably maxing out what an airgun could do accurately.

Hunter field target Scope-Hi power or low for ranging?

for HFT (and particularly because you mentioned huntsman on another post).... the UGT Accushot swat 4-16 is about $180 on pyramyd. Used this scope on 2 HFT Huntsmans, and it's a very decent HFT capable scope, particularly when paired with a regal/revere.

Daystate Daystate Revere or Weihrauch HW100 for field target.

JUst check that it works with your gun. it does NOT work with the revere safari...ask me how i know? edit: the automatic flip out version. there's a manual flick version that should work fine.

    N/A Notos or pp750

The compactness is just a need for a nice, light, front yard plinker for my kiddo who's still short enough and weak enough that a heavier gun is tough to shoot without someone kinda holding on so he doesn't drop it while reloading (using shooting sticks most of the time). also, being able to...

Daystate Daystate Revere or Weihrauch HW100 for field target.

Having shot FT for 2-3 years with an unregulated regal, and are new owners of a huntsman revere safari -- they are absolutely some of the most accurate new to FT without having to go nuts on a Thomas or Redwolf pieces on the market. I have never been or heard of anyone disappointed with a...

    N/A Notos or pp750

I didnt include a poll because I'm 98% sure it would be overwhelmingly Notos based on existing threads. That said, I'd like to do a comparison pros/cons of each one before making a decision. I get that they're both basically the same thing, but I'm looking for the interesting differences...

    Xtreme Field Target Marksman Division

Every time the rules change questions come up, we should ask "what's the point?" - is it to grow the sport by making it easier for new shooters to get (and stay) in the game, or is it to give "pro" shooters another way to dominate the noobs and get a medal?
